Hello everyone! My name is Jordan and I am a third year software development student at Seneca College. I decided to take an open source course since I love the idea of multiple people being part of one big project, regardless of their location or programming level. As a student, it isn't always easy to get experience beyond the typical assignments created by professors. I hope this course gives me an opportunity to practice programming in the real world, and provides me with a sense of community that I would not be exposed to otherwise. I would love to work on mobile apps, and am very interested in UI/UX.

The link to the GitHub repo I chose is https://github.com/expo/expo.
Expo is an open source platform that runs on iOS and Android devices, as well as the web. It is used for creating universal native apps with React. I chose this repo because of my interest in both mobile applications and open source. In addition, I also liked how Expo is created as a tool to help developers. There's unity in programmers trying to help other programmers, which I loved.
