I built my own website with one prompt — a non-developer's one-day project

Full honesty up front: I'm not a programmer. I know what HTML is. I've never really written any.

Last week I gave Muse — Meta's personal AI agent, the kind with a computer of its own — exactly one sentence:

"Build a website that introduces my work. Make it work on phones, and add a contact form."

That's it. One prompt, before bed. Here's what came back by morning, and what I had to fix.

 What I woke up to

Not an outline. Not a code snippet to assemble myself. A finished site:

A home page (intro + what I do)

A work/portfolio page

A working contact form

Layout already adjusted for mobile

Was it perfect? No. Some copy was stiff, and one photo sat in an odd spot. But starting from "edit this" instead of "build this from a blank page" is a completely different job.

My total input: one prompt + three fixes

The first sentence (purpose + two conditions)

"Rewrite the intro in a warmer tone"

"Swap this photo for that one"

A final check before publishing

The agent handled the structure, the page links, and the mobile layout — the parts that usually stall non-developers for days.

 What I'm being honest about

It's a 70-point finished product. Budget a pass with your own eyes for the last 30.

The generated copy runs stiff. One round of "make it sound like me" is not optional.

Check the mobile view yourself before you share the link — I caught one broken section there.

Even with the fixes, the whole thing took less than a tenth of the time a from-scratch build would have cost me — and I say that as someone who would have stalled at the from-scratch part anyway.

Why this isn't "asking a chatbot"

Chat AI gives you answers. A website isn't an answer — it's files, links, checks, and revisions chained together. An agent with its own computer does the chain. My job shrank to stating the goal and approving the result.

 Try the same one-day project

Muse is live in the US, Canada, and Japan. If you try it, do Step 0 first: within 48 hours of joining, enter an invite code in Settings for 1 billion bonus tokens — the field disappears after 48 hours.

UP711Q

App: Settings → Redeem token

Web: Settings → General → Usage → Redeem invite code

One code per account

Good first request: "Build a site that introduces my ___. Make it work on phones." Then spend your energy on the fixes — that's the part only you can judge.

Step-by-step version with the full setup: Muse Invite Code UP711Q — 1 Billion Bonus Tokens for New Users

I put my AI agent on a schedule — a week of automated morning briefs

Most AI tools answer. The interesting shift happens when an agent keeps working on a schedule — without being asked again.

For the past week I've had Muse (Meta's personal AI agent, the one with a computer of its own) run a recurring job for me: every weekday morning, it checks the topics I follow, and delivers a short brief — three lines of summary, with source links.

Here's what I learned about making scheduled agent work actually stick.

 The setup is one sentence

The instruction was basically: "Weekdays at 7 AM, check new items on this topic, summarize in three lines, attach links."

No dashboard, no config file. The agent wakes up at the set time, does the research, formats the brief, and delivers it. Like a recurring calendar event, except the event does the work.

Three things that made it sustainable

1. Fix the output format.
"Three lines + links" every day means the morning check takes 30 seconds. The moment the format drifts, the reading cost explodes and you stop reading.

2. Quiet days stay quiet.
If a full report arrives daily, you'll ignore it by day three. I asked for detail only when something changed, and a one-line "no changes" otherwise. That single rule is what kept the habit alive.

3. Route judgment calls to a question list.
Instead of deciding ambiguous points on its own, the agent parks them as questions. My morning work became "review and decide" instead of "redo from scratch."

Scheduled vs. one-off: how I split the work

Deep, one-time research (market scans, comparison tables) → a single overnight request before bed

Daily tracking (new items, price changes, updates) → the scheduled brief

Combining both, "keeping up with things" is now mostly a review task. The agent prepares; I decide.

 Trying it yourself

Muse is live in the US, Canada, and Japan (Japan joined on October 23). If you sign up, do Step 0 first: within 48 hours of joining, enter an invite code in Settings and you get 1 billion bonus tokens — the input field disappears after 48 hours, so it has to be right after signup.

UP711Q

App: Settings → Redeem token

Web: Settings → General → Usage → Redeem invite code

One code per account

Start small: give it one recurring brief and one overnight task, and see which of your routines it absorbs first.

Muse Invite Code UP711Q — 1 Billion Bonus Tokens for New Users (Redeem Within 48 Hours, October 2026)

TL;DR — Muse (Meta's personal AI agent) gives new users 1 billion bonus tokens when an invite code is entered within 48 hours of signing up. The code is UP711Q. Enter it in the app (Settings → Redeem token) or on the web (Settings → General → Usage → Redeem invite code). After 48 hours the input field disappears. Available in the US, Canada, and Japan. Checked October 2026.

Most AI tools answer. Muse executes. It has its own computer, its own browser, and it keeps working after you close the tab. Hand it a multi-hour job — research a topic across dozens of sources, build the document, set up the follow-up — and it grinds through the steps itself, in the background, and reports back with a finished result. Think less 'chatbot', more 'a junior team that never sleeps.' This guide covers signup, first settings, and the two-minute bonus worth 1 billion tokens (Step 0).

What Muse can do for you

Think of Muse as a capable helper you can hand a task to:

Browse the web for you: Ask it to research a topic, compare options, or pull together information from different pages, and it can go and look for you.

Draft things with you: It can help write emails, documents, summaries, and plans, and revise them as you give feedback.

Monitor pages: If you want to keep an eye on a page for changes or updates, Muse can watch it and let you know what has changed.

Plan a trip through to booking: From finding ideas and comparing routes and places to stay, Muse can help plan a trip step by step and work through the booking stages with you.

The idea is simple: describe what you would like done, in your own words, and let Muse take care of the searching, drafting, and checking in between.

 How to join

You can join at muse.ai. Muse is currently available in the US, Canada, and Japan. The free plan comes with a weekly allowance, so you can try it out gently and see how it fits into your everyday routine before deciding whether you want more.

Signing up is straightforward: create your account, take a moment to explore the interface, and start with one small task rather than a big project.

 First things to try

If you are not sure where to begin, these are good, low-pressure starting points:

Ask it to research something you are curious about — for example, a hobby, a product you are considering, or a place you would like to visit.

Have it draft something for you — a short email, a to-do list, or an outline for a project, then edit it together until it sounds like you.

Ask it to monitor a page you check often — so you do not have to keep going back to see whether anything has changed.

Plan a small trip — pick a destination, share your dates and preferences, and let Muse help you compare options and put a plan together.

Start small, see what feels useful, and build from there. You do not need to know the perfect prompt — a clear, ordinary description of what you want is a great place to start.

Step 0 — Start with 1 billion bonus tokens (once only, within 48 hours of signing up)

There's a one-time head start you can claim right when you join — an extra 1 billion tokens on top of the free plan's weekly allowance, so you can experiment without watching the meter.

Sign up at muse.ai.

Open Settings → Redeem token (in the app) or Settings → General → Usage → Redeem invite code (on the web).

Enter this code:

UP711Q

Done — the bonus lands on your account right away.

Do this step first: after 48 hours the redeem option disappears, and it can't be applied later.

Take your time, try one small task first, and enjoy exploring what Muse can do for you.

 FAQ

What is the Muse invite code?
UP711Q. Enter it within 48 hours of signing up and 1 billion bonus tokens are credited.

Where do I enter the code?
App: Settings → Redeem token. Web: Settings → General → Usage → Redeem invite code.

What happens after 48 hours?
The input field disappears, and the bonus can no longer be claimed on that account.

Which countries is Muse available in?
The United States, Canada, and Japan (Japan launched on October 23, 2026).

Can I use more than one code?
No — one code per account.
