Trying to run on my local machine a node js express app with mongodb database

I initially ran npm install which was successful, After running npm start, this was the error i got in the screenshot. The application
has a mongodb database, seems it not connecting, what am i doing wrong

I am having problem running (on my local machine I just got) a nodejs app I downloaded from github with mongodb database.

I have installed node js lastest version, I also ran npm install to download the packages and dependencies from vscode terminal and i got an error which i screenshotted

I was expecting to be able view the app on my local machine on localhost:3000, i Created this app on my old laptop but want to view it on my new laptop, I had pushed the files to my github repo. I left coding for while now cant my way around

My Goals To Accomplish in HNG 8

I'm so excited to be participating in this year’s HNG 8 internship. I chose frontend development as my stack. It's interesting to know how technology has changed our world right from when the first computer was built to when the internet came to light in the 60s and 70s it gradually grew bigger and bigger. Now people and organizations and communities are brought closer together through the internet and complex tasks have been made simpler with software applications and designs.

This is one of my passions in technology to create solutions to everyday problems. I'll probably write a program to remind people of the birthdays of friends and loved ones.

In order to maximize this program I decided to set some goals which are to get a better understanding of at least two frameworks of javascript and also master my gits command-line and work together in a team on a High end Project that would boost my portfolio. I also wish to network and connect with other programmers and designers and fields to rub minds together towards a productive end.
