Hello everyone I'm new here so please excuse me if this has already been discussed as length.

When I was first learning to program some years ago I read "Programming: Principles and Practice Using C++ by Bjarne Stroustrup" and I absolutely loved it. It's an introduction to programming in general rather than just an introduction to a programming language, using C++ for examples.

I've now started a new job that uses Typescript/JavaScript for backend services and I wondered if anything similar existed for these languages?

I could just read the book again and translate to TS/JS but I would rather not.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
