I've officially graduated from Flatiron School in New York and am in the early stages of the job hunt. I feel like I've learned so much over the past couple of months and I'm excited to put all the knowledge to the test in a real work environment. Since completing the course I'm finding myself actively pursuing new languages and refining the skills I already possess since I now have loads of time throughout my day. More to come as I continue the job search!

I've been using Ruby on Rails for the past couple of weeks now and have found myself loving it. I've gotten attached to using generators because of the amount of time I've been saving! All from the command line you can auto create almost a fully functional application using rails g scaffold. More to come as I learn more about the language!

Ive been adjusting well to my new home in New York, having just completed Phase 3 of Flatiron School! Im now very comfortable with react components and ruby, having just built an application using both that tracks patients and their doctors across a simulated hospital. As I get closer to the end of this program I'm feeling more and more comfortable with full stack development. More to come as I start phase 4!

I've just started at Flatiron school at the New York campus, after relocating from my hometown of Jackson, Mississippi. I'm loving the pace of the program and really enjoying meeting all my fellow classmates. The programming has been a challenge but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. More to come as i continue to progress on my coding journey!
