  Intro
&lt;/h3&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is my first time really attending a hacktoberfest.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In fact more than half of the PRs are sent to my own repositories including side projects. But the changes are serious.&lt;/p&gt;

  Highs, no Lows
&lt;/h3&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The most meaningful PR is perhaps mine to &lt;a href="https://opendal.apache.org/"&gt;opendal&lt;/a&gt;. This is my 2nd Rust PR in my life and the reviewers were really friendly.

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;There is a long story about why I wanted to contribute to Python binding of opendal, 2 languages I don't know or use much. I'm not telling here 🤦 .&lt;/li&gt;

  Growth
&lt;/h3&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I'm a learning by doing person. It feels even more interesting if while learn something new I can build something useful.&lt;/p&gt;
