I Got Tired of Launch Platforms Feeling Dead, So I Built My Own

I kept seeing the same problem over and over.

You build something.
You spend hours polishing it.
You launch it.
And then it disappears into a graveyard of half-dead posts, fake excitement, and empty “looks great!” comments.

That started to annoy me.

A lot.

So I built Buildfeed.

It is a platform for posting what you are building, instantly.

Not six forms.
Not a giant setup process.
Not a “complete your profile, upload your banner, write your origin story, verify your pet goldfish” experience.

Just:

post what you are building

show your progress

launch it

get seen

 Why I made it

A lot of builder platforms feel like they were designed for polished winners, not people in the middle of actually making things.

But the interesting part is not just the final launch.

It is:

the rough early versions

the updates

the changes

the momentum

the “I just shipped this 10 minutes ago” feeling

That is what I wanted Buildfeed to capture.

 What Buildfeed does

Buildfeed lets makers and indie builders post updates and launches in a simple feed built around progress.

The idea is very simple:

Post what you are building. Instantly.

No bloated nonsense.
No overcomplicated flow.
Just building, posting, launching.

What I am trying to fix

I think a lot of launch platforms have one of these problems:

They are too polished and intimidating

They are too empty and feel abandoned

They make posting feel like paperwork

They care more about presentation than momentum

I wanted Buildfeed to feel faster, lighter, and more alive.

 Still early, but already working

Buildfeed is still being built out, but that is also the point.

I would rather launch something real and improve it in public than sit in a cave for six months pretending I am “perfecting” it.

Right now I am focused on making it:

easier to post

more fun to browse

better for launches

actually useful for builders who want visibility

 I would love blunt feedback

Not fake nice feedback.
Not “great job bro” feedback.
Actual feedback.

When you see it, tell me:

Does it feel useful right away?

Would you post your own project there?

What feels missing?

What would make you come back daily?

Here is the link:

https://buildfeed.co

I am building it actively, so harsh opinions are welcome.

Honestly, they are more useful than compliments anyway.

I Tried to Make the Simplest Game Possible… and It’s Brutally Hard

So I had a strange idea.

What if I made a game with **one rule so simple it sounds like a joke?

No tutorials.
No instructions.
No learning curve.

Just this:

Tap every dot… except the red one.

That’s it.

The Problem With Most Games

Most games try to impress you.

Fancy graphics

Complex mechanics

Long onboarding

But I kept thinking…

What if the opposite is actually more addictive?

What if a game is so simple that:

You understand it instantly

You fail instantly

And you immediately want to try again

So I Built It

I made a tiny browser game.

Opens instantly

No sign up

No loading screens

No explanation

You just start tapping.

And then…

You lose.

Very quickly.

The Weird Part

People don’t just lose once.

They lose…
…and immediately hit replay.

Again.
Again.
Again.

It becomes this weird loop of:

“Okay that one wasn’t my fault.”

“Alright, one more.”

“Wait, I can beat this.”

You cannot leave on a loss. It feels illegal.

Why It’s So Hard

There’s no randomness to blame.

Every loss feels like:

your reaction time

your focus

your mistake

Which makes it frustrating in a very specific way.

Not rage-quit frustrating.

More like:

“I should be better than this.”

The Real Goal

I didn’t build this to be impressive.

I built it to answer one question:

Can extreme simplicity be more addictive than complexity?

Try It Yourself

Here it is:

Fair warning:

You will fail fast

You will retry

You will tell yourself “last attempt” (you are lying)

I Need Honest Feedback

I am trying to make this better (without ruining the simplicity).

I would love to know:

Did you feel the urge to retry immediately?

Did any loss feel unfair?

At what point did you stop playing?

Final Thought

The hardest part was not building the game.

It was removing everything unnecessary

And now I am wondering…

Did I remove too much… or just enough?

I built a place to post what you’re building (no algorithms, no waiting)

I kept running into the same problem.

I’d post something I was building… and it would just sit there.

Either it got buried instantly, or it took hours (sometimes days) before anyone saw it.

So I built something simple.

It’s called Buildfeed — a minimal feed where you can post what you’re building, instantly.

No algorithms.
No ranking tricks.
No waiting.

You just type, press enter, and it’s there.
