Having a tuff time most of the jobs I have applied for seem to focus more on the work field that I have been in. I'm looking for entry level in order to learn and gain experience. My main problem is my current industry is completely unrelated to tech I am from the cosmetics industry. How can I relate this to tech new jobs in this field? I had a interview I froze I had no idea what to say that can make it relate to the job I was interviewing for.
What backgrounds is everyone is from?

Learning Code as a Type B person

Are there any other type B coders out there and do you have any input how or if you had to find different ways to learn coding. I find most of the platforms and boot camps are sort of geared towards more type A minds. I had to reverse engineer most of the tutorials I have found in order to learn. What are your experiences ?

What is everyone thoughts on WHY we code? And the reasons to learn

I have been learning web development for about a year yet I am very far from being able to gain a employment I have at least 1 to 2 years left. But that made me think why do we learn how to code and design? Is it only to gain a job with a FANG or is it to create. I think maybe we should change the focus to teach this not with goal of gaining work but to be able to simple create. I think that is why so many people get discouraged when learning. My coding heroes are Rekka and Devine from 100 Rabbits. I think I will follow their creative path.

Is anyone learning smaller langs like LUA and building real-full projects with them? I have noticed a theme that there are many many langs that can be used to make amazing things BUT they don't have as many tools used for them.
I am learning LUA now but l I found a MVC framework called Sailor is anyone else learning this?

I'm planning an intro web design/figma/beginner coding class at my local library. It's inspired by git a bit on the link below I planned the workflow to be modular so library, school, dev can copy make it their own. Also, I'm open for collaborations and I would love any input or advice planning this. The entire idea is that designers, coders, and hardware hackers ext..give two to three hours at their local libraries, or hold events ext...
