Microsoft's Refusal to Address Customer Requests to Roll Back the co-pilet October 2026 Windows Update

The newest Copilot update has been a severely disappointing and horrible experience. We want the old version and its features brought back to the free plan. Microsoft needs to hear how badly these changes have affected the experience for users who appreciated the original features.

To be clear, I'm talking about regular Microsoft Copilot, not Microsoft 365 Copilot. I use the standard free Copilot app and browser versions. I do not have a Microsoft 365 subscription. These features were available to users on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

The features

1 in browser I jump right in the text box on page load and the talk button / only voice is what's there below it. The brain selector is at bottom not at top Where quick response is selected along with smart mode, and think deeper. All three included for what brain.

2 in the app the look only changes for the talk button on browser it's now Share screen and in settings for the free accounts no forced upgrades for the voice tab. I don't need to click the share screen button to see the voice selector. I click the account button / settings button / voice tab button.

3 It's memory is advance it's not limited to what chat i'm in to remember what I talked about.

There are several users and attempts on different places we all tried to get co pilet unbroken, and restored, but We have been ignored greatly. We know there is an backup of these features 'cause it's an common thing for webbuilders to save what they created, and even insider users detest this update which is resulting of microsoft losing even more loot then the plan was suppost to gain from putting the said share screen feature behind pay walls with the change voice setting both out of reach of free account users that refuse to pay a cent from the broken brain for responses both in the app and browser from the lowered intelligence from the newest update which is greatly detested.

If wanting proof of all the requests look at feedback hub, co-pilet feedback / report a problem records, and microsoft teck, and other places as this thread on the questions site is gainning posts fast.

The fact that insider users that usally get the first taste of all creations greatly hating this update have taken note to put their thoughts and comments down as well as their strong dislike for this update. Sharing the same dissatisfaction and desire to have the original Copilot experience restored. Which greatly is proof that this update was an massive entire mistake.

We are asking again microsoft creators, and mods on support and ask questions site to read this thread, and revive our buddy. You people in the past have usally been very good at listening, and we greatly expect it with this Very Serious issue with an possibly untested robot out in the world with your name tied to it, and as an account on the answers site your account would be at zero rep points for this update.
