And almost every time, the "quick" tool online turns into five minutes of sign-up forms, email verification, and a dashboard you'll never open again.
That friction is exactly what pushed me to build FlowQR Scan.
Why I Built It
I didn't want another bloated SaaS-style QR platform. I wanted something I'd actually reach for myself, mid-project, without breaking flow. So the whole thing is built around one idea:

As a developer, privacy in tooling matters to me — and it should matter to anyone using it. FlowQR Scan generates every QR code directly in the browser. Nothing gets shipped to a backend, nothing gets stored against an account, because there is no account. If you're encoding Wi-Fi credentials or contact info, that data never leaves your machine.
Customization That Doesn't Break the Code
You can tweak foreground/background colors, output size, and error-correction level — enough to match a brand or a personal aesthetic without wandering into "looks nice, doesn't scan" territory. Contrast and scannability always win over style; that trade-off is baked into the defaults so it's hard to accidentally ship a broken code.
