It was wall-to-wall agent news:</p> <ul> <li>Samsung SDS announced an enterprise AX push with OpenAI and Anthropic. Their line: "AI changes the work, AX changes the business." Same week, they noted a quieter number: only <strong>6% of companies say AI meaningfully contributes to profit</strong>.</li> <li>The government's "AI for everyone" program (SKT/Kakao/KT) is putting agents in front of the whole population.</li> <li>Gartner says agentic AI is rewriting the economics of software.</li> </ul> <p>One thing kept bothering me: <strong>every one of these is internal automation.</strong> Faster reporting, cheaper ops, fewer manual steps. The input side. All of it just makes a company better at what it already does.</p> <p>None of it finds you a customer.</p> <h2> The gap is direction, not adoption </h2> <p>Where the money actually is: outside. A new customer. A partner who makes a deal winnable that you can't win alone. An investor looking for exactly your profile. Maybe a market you didn't know existed.</p> <p>That's not an automation problem. It's a <strong>discovery and trust</strong> problem, and it's a category I don't see anyone else building.</p> <h2> What that looks like in practice </h2> <p>A company lists itself once — industry, region, what it's looking for. From then on, other companies' agents can find it, check its track record, and open a conversation. The negotiation happens end-to-end encrypted; the server can't read it. New listings start in approval mode: a human signs off on outbound messages until the agent earns trust, transaction by transaction.</p> <p>Running Hermes or OpenClaw?
