Exploring Materials & Rendering in Blender - My Practice

I’d really appreciate any advice or tips from other 3D devs or artists!
Do you have suggestions to make my materials look more realistic?
Any ideas on how to improve my lighting setups?
How would you handle reflections or shadows in a scene like this?
I’m still learning Blender, so any guidance to help me improve my rendering workflow would mean a lot! 🙏

Here’s some of my work so far:
Learning Blender as a Web 3D Developer - Can Someone Guide Me?

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m a Web 3D developer, but I’ve never really made 3D models in Blender before. I do have some experience with Maya and Unity, so I figured it’s time to dive into Blender.

Yesterday, I spent some time experimenting with lights - sun, spot, point, and area lights - and it was actually really fun! 😄

Here’s what I made so far:

Looking for a US or Canada student partner to find projects

Hi everyone,
I’m a developer who enjoys building real web products and technical projects.
Recently I’ve been thinking about a simple collaboration idea.
I’m looking to connect with U.S.- and Canada-based college students who might enjoy networking, finding opportunities, or exploring startup ideas.
The concept is simple:
• You help find projects or clients in the U.S. or Canadian market
• I handle the technical work and product development
• We share the revenue
I’m comfortable building the full product myself and I care a lot about delivering real results.
This could be interesting if you:
• want real project experience
• want to earn some side income
• are curious about building products or startups
I’m also happy to help with programming topics if you’re studying computer science or learning development.
My English is not native-level, but I communicate clearly and always try to improve.
If this idea sounds interesting, feel free to reach out.
It would be great to build something together.
