good evening everyone!

just a quick little update, as there isn't much to my journey so far. i have decided to take a day's break of coding, and decided to design my portfolio site! i have decided between adobe xd and figma, and decided to go with figma due to it's web version. i have laid out the basic layout, as well as some of the content and features of each page. you can check out the figma project here: schnoor.email/7ul. that's all i have for today, and i'll see y'all tomorrow!!

hello everyone, thought i'd give y'all a bit of an update on our project.

i have currently stopped all work on bootstrap.surf for a bit. i am currently refreshing and re-enhancing my skills with html and css so i can put my full potential into this project.

heya everyone!

i have decided to move away from codecademy, since it didn't seem like a full-fledged learning system without paying for their pro plan. it seemed enticing but too expensive for what it is.

i have moved to learning along with the odin project's foundations course. so far, it looks excellent.

from now on, i'll provide updates in the comments, rather than editing the post.

ello everyone!

today is the first day of my web development journey. i have decided to use this html codecademy course as it seems the best to start from the ground up with the html basics, and see where i get from there.

i also decided to start this css codecademy course as well, but will not be focusing on it until i complete the html course further on.

now i'm not sure how these profiles work, but feel free to check out my codecademy profile here.

although i believe that this could be helpful, i do not think that codecademy is the best solution for my learning style. there is no testing what you have learned or such without having to pay for their "pro" plan. i plan to research some different ways to learn code languages.

update: i have just completed the css lesson on codecademy. i feel like the lesson was very general, and could be much more thorough. but, what do you expect for a free lesson. i'm planning on working on the css lesson today, as that is the main section that i am lacking knowledge in.

good evening everyone! as of today, i have started my journey on fully learning and enhancing my web development skills. i have decided to start on learning html and css, and then move on to experiment with different ways such as react and gatsby.

i have minimal experience with html and css, mostly editing templates and themes to create a website. but, i want to enhance my skills to create my own projects from scratch.

i hope you will all join me on my journey, and i'll update tomorrow with more on another blog post tomorrow.
