I'm a 2nd year student of Software Engineering, my name is Kirellos, for about a year i was struggling on how to get started with open source contributions, all i was doing is searching searching and more searching but could not find a right project, this hacktoberfest thingy helped me in making my first contribution as many beginners friendly projects came out in which i could contribute with my little experience. And Excatly i Realy Benefit From Event Too Much Knowledge and Experince</p> <p>Background<br> I got know about this event organized by @DigitalOcean around 11th of October, i was not very positive for the event but registered myself anyway.</p> <p>Progress<br> i am not a hardcore coder but i know banck-end quite well so i contributed in various front end projects, or minor php code patches.<br> and i have finally completed this years challenge, next time i will try to contribute in some major projects too</p> <p>Reflections<br> this was my first time participating in this event and it helped me a lot, i would definitely love to do it again.</p> hacktoberfest php laravel dev
