The last three days of my internship! Doing all the tasks that were taught to me since I started my OJT with no supervision except from my trainer from Vietnam the tasks that I had to do were to check all data from one Google sheet and after checking, transfer it to their original sheet where they record all data, so I do really have to be observed so that my trainer will be able to guide me in case I make a mistake. Though I am familiar with the process of transferring all the data, I still sometimes forget some of the steps but my trainer from Vietnam was kind enough to help me through the process.

Almost done with my OJT~ yay! I still do all my daily tasks with no supervision from my trainer. I also shared that I have new tasks taught from my other trainer, though she doesn't observes me every time I do the tasks she assigned to me, I call her through our communication tool which is skype to let her know that I am going to do the tasks she gave to me for her to double check later on if I made a mistake. Overall I had three trainer that taught me specific tasks since they were the one who is in charged of that specific tasks.

2 more weeks until we're done with with our internship!

Almost done with the internship! And I almost completed my task when they added another set for me to learn but this time one of the task that they added to my planner was I only need to observe and my trainer explained to me how they do it in every step, good thing I have a recorder app that I can just turn on every time we have a discussion so that I can just review it later on. I was also taught another task by another trainer from our department and it was easy after some time. Also met again with the Vietnam agent, there was some lapses in communication since he sometimes not able to really explain what he wants to say but we were able to communicate and understand each other so it was all good.

Another week with the same tasks and the same people in the office. However this time, I had to let the other intern from other school observe me while I do my daily task since our manager told him that he will be learning the tasks from our department which is Warehouse and since I am doing the first task I was told that I let the other intern observed me and show him how to do the task.

For week 7, this was the comeback week in where we are all present the whole week since for the past few weeks its either we have an activity at school that we need to be absent in our ojt or there's a holiday during the week, so this week was a bit different and tiring. Anyways, for my task, it was all the same as last week where I have to do my tasks. The difference was that I had to teach another intern from another school the task that I was doing since he was suddenly told by our manager that he will be learning some warehouse task in which I was assigned, so I was tasked to let him observe me on how to process my task as well as taught him the right process. Everything else went smoothly for this week of internship.

Week 6 was just a normal internship. I did my daily task, as well as the specific task that I need to do every Monday. I also did the new task that was just taught to me by my trainer but it was an easy one since I only have to check the website and see if there are shipment IDs that needs to be processed. We also only need to attend three days for this week since Tuesday and Wednesday was a holiday, so we get to relax and enjoy our rest day for this week. After we got back, I did the same task which was my daily task and another specific task that I need to do every Friday. On Friday, my trainer told me that for my next task that I need to learn, I will be taught by their Vietnamese employee. I was a bit nervous since of course I will need to speak in English and we might not understand each other, but everything went smoothly even if sir he kind of had a hard time explaining things to me. Thankfully I was able to record our discussion so I was able to review it and took down notes on how to process the task.

Day 2 - SIRF (Research Congress)

The day where all 4th year student will be presenting their Thesis and Capstone project. For the morning, we were already in the venue because we were told that the panelist might asks questions regarding with our infographics that we posted the night before. So we didn't do much in the morning aside from helping with the last touch for the venue, like the table for the panelist with the cloth, and the tablet for where they can view the infographics easily, as well as their pencils and scoring paper.

Then the real event started at 1pm, where we started the event with a prayer as well as the national anthem and the loyalty song. After that, each of the group and individual was called to present, and my group was the sixth presenter. Everything went smoothly while just sitting down and waiting for our turn, however, the nervousness kicked in after we were called and standing in front of the panelist. And during the open forum, we did our best in answering all the questions that was thrown to us and me and my partner just taught after that ends that we did our best and we thought our presentation was great so that's all that matters, so basically we did not expect any reward given to us. But! Thankfully our hard work has paid off and we bagged two awards, which was Best Podium and Best Poster both runner up. So we were really happy especially that we did not expect it.
Day 1 - ICT Seminars 2024

April 4, 2024 is our ICT Seminar in which every group will be inviting speakers from our industry partners or the groups chosen speaker. Since I am an intern from CPI Inc. we have invited the company to be our speakers and miss Vanessa, the general manager of CPI, gladly accepted the invite and even brought two speakers.

The said event started at 9am and it went on smoothly with each group having specific responsibilities like, introducing their speaker, doing the icebreaker, and summarizing the speakers presentation. After the morning session, we had lunch and continue with the rest of the presentation in the afternoon, and CPI started at 1:30pm. From our group, Chevie was the one who introduce the speakers, I am the one who handles the icebreaker, while Vince does the summarizing of presentation. I was a bit nervous doing the icebreaker but since everyone in the venue was entertained and was into my game, I relaxed immediately and enjoyed doing the icebreaker.

After our part, Vince then summarizes the presentation and then continued with the other speakers. The event was done not later than 5pm and we immediately went to main function room for our dry run for the research congress.

For week 5, we only have to be in the office from Monday to Wednesday since we have to be in school for our ict talk and capstone presentation on Thursday and Friday.

So for my task, on Monday, I did my first task which I have to do daily and since it is Monday I have to do a specific task that needs to be done only on Mondays. Aside from that since I still have few tasks that I need to learn I also make use most of my time reviewing recordings or tutorial videos for the tasks that will be taught to me.
