Hello mates!

And yet again i’ve come to the end of the second last week of the awesomity lab / code of africa taskforce.

This week was more of techinal, we had a very fruitful session game called The business simulation game with one of the geniuses in tech Thomas. Where we played different roles in real scenerios and projects and the roles included Product owner, scrum master, architect, Developers and more more.

As i said this week was more technical where we were working on intergrating API endpoints to our LOT dashboard.

The friday session we had a brainstorming session where we presented our ideas of our graduation project throughout next week that solves real life scenerios.

All in all, this week was very fun and educative. See you next week after graduation😎🔥

Hello good people!,

Today marks the end of week four in the Awesomity taskforce, and yet again still getting new and great things being added to our knowledge.

In the beginning of the week, we started the week with a Design thinking soft skill session, where we got to know more on what clients really want on projects.

Proceeding on the next day with a dashboard project called ShowApp to work on that gave us a lot more experience and understanding on Ant design ( A frontend react framework ) .

We had a soft skill session regarding time management and the concepts on setting SMART goals, that helped us as software developers to set realistic and formidable goals.

At the end of the week the ( friyay! ) we had a presentation where we talked about the concepts of survival in the mid center of the ocean after a fire outbreak in our boat. This made me really think about the question... WHAT IF it really happens :)

So in conclustion, this week wore more fun and productive. See you next week :)

Greetings mates!

The end of week three is already here! A lot had happend and a lot i learned, so let me get you through it!

Just to cut it short, we had fruitful sessions. starting with soft we had a great session regarding stress and resilience. we as programmers its very likely to get stress from what we face everyday ( Bugs :) this is where we learnt about resilience and how to practice it in order to overcome stress.

In terms of technical sessions, we started the week with an awesome project that involved a two page website from one of my taskforce mate UI/UX designer. proceeding with a dashboard containing eye catching features like a dark theme built with purely React. I also was introduced to a new front end framework called Ant Design! I learned it and i came to find out that it really makes a front end developer's work and easy and a lot faster.

Concluding, This week was very educative and is the actual beginning of the taskforce! see yah next week

I would like to talk about my experience during the past first week in the Awesomity lab taskforce.

I had a great welcoming session that was all about introductions and mindfull sessions with interesting games that helped us to get to know each other very well.

The program is hybrid meaning that some sessions are remote and others on site.

On the following day we had a Fun coding war that helped us get a mind boost to get into the coding game for the rest of the day with the team. continuing in the afternoon with working on projects like ATM which was really fun!

Following with remote sessions, where we get to learn about communication skills and soft skills at the same time from great and professional people.

And then there comes the interesting !!friyay!! where we had very interesting sessions and games with the official Awesomity team!

All in all, i tried to breakdown each and every detail and to make it as short as possible, but the bootcamp is great and currently taking my skills to the next level with awesomity lab HERE WE GO!!!
