Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share my latest project which I made for coding bootcamp. The site was built using Bootstrap, SCSS, and vanilla JavaScript. One highlight of the site is that it utilizes an API to access a movie database to allow users to search for movies. I have limited the search results to only display movies that were released between 1990 - 2009, as those are the decades the site is dedicated to.

Hello everyone!
A recent interaction on Stack Overflow got me thinking about best practices for formatting my code. Does anyone have any information on where I could find some documentation/instructions on best practices for formatting code?

Help with jQuery lightbox

Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if someone might be able to help with getting a lightbox to center on a page?
Here is a link to my Codepen: https://codepen.io/kurt-reynolds/pen/MWvKKMZ

When clicking on an image, it will bring up a lightbox/modal window of the image. However, the lightbox is showing up at the bottom of the page rather than the center of the page as it should.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions

This is my first post. I started my journey into web development at the end of June 2021.
After mentioning to a good friend (who is a software engineer) about wanting a career change, he encouraged me to give web development a try.
So far, I've been learning through Udemy courses, YouTube videos, Stack Overflow, and a lot of Google-ing.
I start a coding bootcamp on October 25th and I'm looking forward to learning everything I can.

Below is a link to my Github portfolio page. It's a work in progress.
https://kurtreyn.github.io/portfolio/index.html

Thanks for reading!

-Kurt
