the code of conduct on this site in particular is excellent, and I'm pleased even though I've only been here like an hour at most.

thank you for existing, good mods / devs and whatnot.

this made my day.

linux?

is it weird that I was excited and hoping to see kernel stuff in the linux tag?

like I'm new here and didn't expect to see generic userspace content which is kernel-agnostic and doesn't care if you're using linux or not, but mostly that's my OCD and the literal meaning of linux when I say it because I do kernel work when I work on linux, and I call it something other than linux when I'm not working on the linux kernel or a driver which specifically needs linux as its backing syscall / libc flavor and whatnot.

literally just a link to my profile

not sure what you were expecting, but it's exactly what I said it was.

ouroboros is a reference to ... actually just look it up if you're confused. I linked to my own profile as a silly joke.
