This is a submission for the New Year, New You Portfolio Challenge Presented by Google AI

 About Me

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Jakub Laskowski.
I have experience building websites using HTML, CSS, JS, and Bootstrap, and I've dabbled in Node.js. Currently, I am pivoting my career path and diving deep into the world of DevOps.

This portfolio represents a bridge between my coding background and my new infrastructure skills. I wanted to create something that showcases my projects as I learn more about cloud engineering.

 Portfolio

 How I Built It

For this challenge, I decided to lean heavily on Google's AI tools to accelerate my development and overcome my design limitations.

The Design: Google Stitch
To be honest, I don't have a natural "eye" for graphic design. That's why Google Stitch was a game-changer for me.

True Customization: It didn't just give me a generic template; it helped me create a site that is "100% me."

Powerful Features: I was impressed by the ability to edit various elements on the fly and then export exactly what I needed—whether it was specific graphic assets or the ready-to-use frontend code.

The Result: Thanks to Stitch, I achieved exactly what I aimed for: a minimalist, highly readable, and informative design. It perfectly represents my professional approach without unnecessary clutter.

The AI Engine: Google AntiGravity
I used Google AntiGravity to generate and refine the logic and structure. I definitely recommend it!

Context Awareness: The biggest advantage was how well it holds context. Unlike other tools that "forget" previous instructions, AntiGravity remembered the details of my project structure throughout the session.

Workflow: Sometimes it can be a bit stubborn, but it's very easy to fix with a quick follow-up prompt.

Limits: The usage limits are really generous, allowing me to iterate freely.

Deployment (The DevOps Part):
Since I'm training to be a DevOps engineer, I containerized the AI-generated code using Docker (Nginx) and deployed it directly to Google Cloud Run.

 What I'm Most Proud Of

I'm most proud of how these tools allowed me to bypass my lack of design skills and focus on what matters—the content and the deployment.

Using Google Stitch gave me a professional look that I couldn't have achieved on my own, while AntiGravity sped up the coding process. The final result is a polished, containerized application running on a scalable serverless infrastructure! ☁️

Thanks for checking out my submission!
