Unity with MVC

Unity with MVC: How to Level Up Your Game Development

I've been working on a Unity application at work for the last month or so and it's gotten so convoluted that I'll occasionally have trouble tracing the stack on how my scripts interact with one another or dependencies. In comes MVC patterns. With good design comes a cleaner workflow.

I just finished up a quick conceptual project at home using this pattern and am looking forward to going into work tomorrow to implement it. Not sure how welcome Unity is here at dev.to but I hope you game designers out there find it useful. Thanks for reading~

Getting Back Into Blogging

How to Build an Online Presence as a Junior Developer

I found this post a month back and it has been sitting in my phone's Chrome tab since them. It finally wore me down, and I started looking into how to get back into blogging. As a junior developer working with edge tech, I feel like I should have information to share and that the act of blogging consistently is another great screen activity.

After spending an entire day trying to figure out how to tear down my site and redesign it with blogging in mind, I decided that I would make dev.to my temporary blogging home rather than taking days to build/refine my own website. After all, procrastination is starting's worst enemy. There's probably a grammatical error in that phrase, but let's roll with it.

I am still looking to refine my web development skills on the side with VR. I have about 2.5 years of C#.NET experience, but I am more interested in getting started with Javascript and having it drive much of my new website. If anyone has any guides or suggestions on how I can do so, please let me know! Thanks for reading~
