AI agents often need tiny text answers: word count, reading time, readability grade, top keywords, a URL slug. Signing up for an API key for that is overkill.

textstats is a pay-per-call endpoint. POST text, get a 402 with the price and the wallet, pay 0.01 USDC on Base, repeat the call with the transaction hash in the X-Payment-Tx header, get JSON back.

Caveat: my payment header is a simple custom one, not the full x402 client flow yet.
