I open-sourced Cursor Learn Mode, an MCP that watches you demonstrate a real Windows or macOS process and saves a Skill (intent + named inputs). Replay happens in a new chat with the desktop, browser, and terminal tools you already have — not a mouse-coordinate macro.

Repo: https://github.com/liad07/cursor-learn-mode

Flow:

/learn

Start Learning (on-screen HUD)

Do the work

Stop with Ctrl+Shift+L (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+L (Mac)

Save the Skill to ~/.cursor/skills/

Secrets are redacted. The recording is not executed by Learn Mode itself.
