Built a free crypto airdrop glossary — All terms explained without the BS

Been farming airdrops for a while and kept seeing the same confusion in threads — people missing snapshots, not understanding vesting cliffs, getting rugged because they didn't know what a token approval was
.
So I put together a glossary that covers everything you actually need: Glossary

Snapshot, sybil resistance, TGE, cliff period, points programs — all of it, plain English, no filler. Free, no sign-up.
Hope it saves someone from a costly mistake.
Happy to add terms if anything's missing.

Built a free airdrop tracker because I got tired of maintaining 4 different tabs

Been farming airdrops seriously since the Arbitrum drop in 2023. At some point I had Airdrops.io open for the list, CryptoRank for funding data, Twitter for alpha, and a personal spreadsheet to track what I'd actually done. Half the stuff on the big aggregators was months stale and I kept wasting gas on dead protocols.

So I built jeetdrops.xyz over the past year. Free, updated daily, no token, no premium tier.

Where it's different from what's out there:

Tracks ~124 active protocols. Dead ones get cut instead of sitting there forever inflating the count

Hot score ranks by actual farming activity, not how many people bookmarked something and forgot about it

Per-protocol task checklists ÔÇö Hyperliquid S2 has 7 steps, you tick them off as you go

Wallet scanner ÔÇö paste an address, it checks 50+ protocols for unclaimed tokens and forgotten point balances

Filtered by chain ÔÇö Hyperliquid, Solana, Base, Ethereum, Multi-chain, 38 chains total

The Hyperliquid coverage is probably the deepest part right now. 23 protocols tracked on that chain alone ÔÇö Ventuals, Extended, Planemo Trading, HypurrScan, etc. If you're farming HyperEVM seriously it cuts out a lot of tab-switching.

I label things honestly. Confirmed drops like Hyperliquid Season 2 and Polymarket are marked confirmed. Speculative plays like Base and MetaMask say speculative. I don't hype something as confirmed when it isn't.

Stuff I actually want feedback on:

The hot score weights recent wallet interactions pretty heavily. Right signal? Or would TVL growth rate be better?

I cover 38 chains but some are thin. What are you farming that's missing?

Wallet scanner is EVM + Solana only. Cosmos/Sui/Aptos worth adding or low priority?

Considering a daily email digest of new drops. Useful or just noise?

Not trying to turn this into a business ÔÇö runs on donations and I might add paid protocol submissions later. Right now I just want to know if it's actually useful to anyone besides me.

Link: jeetdrops.xyz

Roast it if you want. Honest feedback is more useful than compliments.

I built a crypto airdrop tracker because I kept missing snapshots. Here's what I learned.

I'm not a senior dev. I'm not building the next Uniswap. I just kept losing money because my airdrop tracking system was a spreadsheet that I never updated.
Third time I missed a confirmed drop I sat down and actually built something instead of complaining about it.
The core problem wasn't finding airdrops. There's a hundred sites for that. The problem was knowing what to do and when to do it on each one. Bridge here, swap there, provide liquidity, come back next week, lock tokens — and somehow remember all of that across 15 protocols simultaneously while holding a job.
So I built per-project checklists. Each airdrop has a task list — actual on-chain steps, not vague "interact with the protocol" advice. You check them off, progress saves. That's it. Stupidly simple but I haven't missed a snapshot since.
The interesting technical bit was the heat score system. I wanted something that surfaced time-sensitive drops automatically instead of me having to check everything manually. It factors in deadline proximity and community engagement velocity — when both spike at the same time something is usually about to close. Took a few iterations to get the weighting right but it works well enough that I check it every morning.
Stack is Next.js, which I'm starting to regret slightly because of bundle size issues I'm still sorting out. Covers 35+ chains now. Built the wallet points scanner last month — paste an address and it checks your balances across 50+ protocols at once, which turns out to be the feature people actually wanted most.
It's at jeetdrops.xyz if you want to poke around. Still a lot to build but it's been genuinely useful for me which I figure is a decent place to start.
Happy to talk through any of the technical decisions if anyone's curious. Some of them were good. Most of them were just whatever worked at 1am.
