How I Built a Free Online Quiz Website

I recently started working on a small project called Unbotium, a free online quiz website.

The idea was pretty simple: pick a subject, start a quiz, answer the questions before the timer runs out, and see your score.

I used AI quite a bit while building it.

ChatGPT was basically my coding partner. I used it for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fixing bugs, creating the quiz system, timers, SEO stuff, and making the different subject pages.

Then came the questions. I used Claude to generate large sets of quiz questions for subjects like geography, science, history, sports, and others. Of course, generating thousands of questions also means finding a lot of small problems.

That's where Grok came in. I used it to check the questions for wrong answers, duplicates, weird questions, and other mistakes.

So my workflow ended up being something like:

ChatGPT → build the website → Claude → generate questions → Grok → check everything → repeat

It's definitely not a perfect workflow, but it helped me build something much faster than I could have done alone.

The site is live now, and I'm still working on it.

Check my website https://unbotium.com
