I Let an AI Agent Run My Small Tasks for a Month. Here's What Actually Stuck

I did not hire Muse to do something impressive. I hired it, in effect, to do the small jobs I keep putting off: check the inbox, read the long page, turn a messy note into a file I can send.
A month in, the impressive part is not what it can do. It is what I still hand it, every day, without thinking twice.
The 30-second version
This is for you if you have a lot of small, boring tasks and a short attention span for tools. It is not for you if you want a tool that works without any checking. Muse still needs you to check the important parts, and that is a good thing.
What I actually hand it in a day
Morning inbox, pre-chewed. It goes through Gmail and pulls out only security alerts, bills, support replies, and things that expire. Marketing mail is skipped. On a quiet day, it says nothing, and that silence is the feature.
Research I would skip otherwise. Compare two options, check a price, read a long document and give me the part that matters, with sources I can open. When it cannot verify something, it says so. I have learned to trust that sentence more than a confident paragraph.
Mess in, document out. A voice-note-level mess becomes a summary, a plan, or a comparison table. I still edit before I send anything, but I no longer start from a blank page.
Watchdogs, not daily reports. I ask it to watch a few things on a schedule. It only taps me when something changes. A daily "all is normal" is exactly how you learn to ignore a tool.
How to start without making a mess
Join Muse, then connect only one thing first. For most people, that is email, or nothing at all. You do not need to connect everything on day one.
Give it one small, boring task first. Inbox triage, a trip plan, a messy spreadsheet. Do not start with money, messages to other people, or anything hard to undo.
Set one rule and keep it: ask me before you send, spend, delete, or change anything outside this chat. That rule is why I trust it with real work.
Check the result before you use it. Especially numbers, dates, and names. The agent is fast, and fast is exactly when a small error slips through.
The honest limits
Muse is currently open to users in the US and Canada, and joining does not bypass regional availability or any waitlist. The bonus tokens are usage credit for Muse, not money you can withdraw. And no agent, this one included, should be left alone with irreversible actions. If a tool promises that, do not use it for real work.
Bonus, with full disclosure
This is my invite code, and I will say plainly how it works so you can decide for yourself.
If you join Muse and redeem it within 48 hours of joining, we both get 1 billion bonus tokens. The steps are: mobile, Settings > Redeem token; web, Settings > General > Usage > Redeem invite code. Enter ZJQ2WG and confirm.
Use it or not, totally your call. You will enjoy Muse either way, and the code does not change what the agent can do. Two limits to know: referrers earn the bonus for up to 20 friends, and each code stops working after roughly 20-30 redemptions in total. If it will not go through, it is probably full.
If you try it, I am curious what you hand it first. Most people start with something boring, and that is honestly where it shines.
