Hey Everyone.
Like many of you, I’ve been struggling with focus. The constant pull of social media and doomscrolling was ruining my productivity. So, as an indie developer, I decided to stop complaining and start building a tool to fix it: Dopamine Jail.
Right now, it’s in its very first version. At its core, it is a clean, no-nonsense focus timer designed to help you lock in and get things done. But I don't want it to stay just a simple timer—I want it to evolve into a tool that actually works for us.
This is where I need your help.
I’m looking for early adopters to test it out and tell me what to build next. What features would actually help you put your phone down? Gamification? Strict modes? Statistics?
I’ve created a Discord community where we can brainstorm ideas, report bugs, and support each other's focus goals. If you enjoy testing new apps and want a real say in how a product is developed, I would be honored to have you on board. You can literally help design the next update.

I made a lightweight userscript manager for Chrome – no ads, no tracking, just scripts

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a project I've been tinkering with. It's called Super Script Runner, and it's a userscript manager for Chrome.

The reason I built it? I got tired of existing managers like Ace Script being loaded with ads, spyware, and general nonsense. I just wanted something clean that runs my scripts and doesn't spy on me.

So I made my own. It supports Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey scripts (GM_setValue, GM_xmlhttpRequest, etc.), can auto-update scripts from remote URLs (Pastebin, GitHub Gist), and has import/export to ZIP. The UI is simple with toggle switches and tooltips. No ads, no data collection, and it's open source – you can check the code yourself.

I'd really appreciate any feedback, bug reports, or feature ideas. If you're into userscripts or browser automation, give it a try and let me know what you think.

Do you often find yourself manually cleaning up your messy desktop?

I built a small Python script that organizes your desktop by sorting files into folders by type (images, docs, videos, etc). It takes a few seconds to run and instantly gives your workspace a clean look — no more chaos!

🔧 What It Does
This script scans a folder (your desktop or any other) and moves files into categorized subfolders:

🖼 Images (PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF)

📄 Documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT, XLSX)

🎞 Videos (MP4, MOV, AVI)

📦 Archives (ZIP, RAR)

💻 How to Use It
python desktop_cleaner.py
# → Enter the path to your desktop (e.g., C:\Users\YourName\Desktop) That’s it. It will automatically sort files into folders within that path.

💡 Why I Made It
This is one of several utility scripts I’ve written to automate small daily tasks. The idea is to save 5–10 minutes a day on repetitive stuff and free your mind for more creative work.

I’ve bundled 5 such scripts into a free/open pack:
