Building Hazara Mom Stitches: a Laravel storefront for Hazaragi clothing

A storefront is one part of an e-commerce project. The rest is the journey around it: finding a collection, keeping a product for later, adding items to a cart, and checking an order.

I built Hazara Mom Stitches as an independent full-stack project for Hazaragi clothing and embroidered goods, using Laravel, PHP and Livewire. This post introduces the public storefront and the workflows it brings together.

 What the project includes

The website has English and Persian interfaces, product collections, a wishlist, a cart and order tracking. My role covered full-stack development.

These features serve different moments in a shopping journey:

Collections help people explore the clothing and embroidered products.

A wishlist gives an interested visitor a place to keep an item for later.

The cart brings selected items together.

Order tracking gives customers a way to check what happens after placing an order.

Treating those as connected steps makes it easier to reason about the product than looking at each page in isolation.

Two languages mean more than two sets of labels

The public site supports English and Persian. For a bilingual storefront, text direction is part of the interface: English reads left to right, while Persian reads right to left.

A useful review follows an entire task in each language. Can someone find a collection, understand a product and reach the cart without losing context? Navigation, button labels and empty states all belong in that review. A translated heading alone does not tell you whether the flow is clear.

 Thinking across the full stack

Working across the frontend and backend means looking at the same action from both sides. A cart action has an interface, but it also has application rules and stored information. Order tracking has a customer-facing view, but that view needs to communicate a meaningful order state.

For me, that connection is the interesting part of full-stack development: the visible interface and the underlying workflow need to tell the same story.

This is a public project introduction. It does not include customer records or private application code.

You can explore the storefront at Hazara Mom Stitches and see more of my independent work in my portfolio.

Which part of a bilingual shopping flow would you review first?
