*Introducing Vidzora — A Privacy-Focused Social Video Downloader
*
I’m building Vidzora, a fast, mobile-first web utility designed to make public-link video processing simple and straightforward.

What Vidzora focuses on

Public-link based workflow

Mobile-first experience

No account required for the basic experience

Temporary processing where required

Provider-based architecture that can evolve as third-party platforms change

Privacy-focused approach with minimal persistent data

Additional browser-based image and PDF utilities

Why I built it

Many online downloader tools are overloaded with advertisements, complicated interfaces, and unnecessary steps.

The goal with Vidzora is to keep the experience simple:

Paste a public link → detect available media → choose an available option → process it.

The project is still evolving, and availability can change when third-party platforms or providers change their systems.

Beyond video downloading

Vidzora also includes browser-based utilities for common image and PDF tasks, including:

Image compression

Image resizing

JPG to PDF

PDF to JPG

PDF compression

PDF merging

Image format conversion

Image cropping

Technology

Vidzora is built as a modern web application with a focus on:

Next.js

JavaScript/TypeScript

Mobile-first UI

Server-side processing where required

Modular provider architecture

Links

Live website:

Open-source repository:
https://github.com/Manojpatil7711/Vidzora

I’m continuing to improve the provider architecture, reliability, performance, and utility tools.

Feedback from developers and users is welcome.

$1.04 Billion Jackpot

Illinons Powerball Ticket Wins $1.04 Billion Jackpot
A single Powerball ticket sold in Illinois has won the massive $1.04 billion jackpot, making it the eighth-largest Powerball prize in U.S. history.

The winning ticket matched all five white balls—4, 26, 66, 67 and 69—along with the red Powerball number 9 in Wednesday’s drawing. The ticket also included a 2X Power Play multiplier.

The winner now faces a major financial decision: take the estimated $450.5 million lump-sum payment or receive the full $1.04 billion jackpot through an annuity paid over 29 annual installments. Both amounts are before taxes.

Lottery experts say the winner’s first priority should be protecting their identity and securing professional financial and legal advice before making major decisions. Managing such a large fortune can involve significant tax, investment and privacy challenges.

Powerball officials congratulated the Illinois winner, noting that winning tickets can be sold anywhere the game is played. The latest jackpot adds to a remarkable history of massive Powerball prizes across the United States.

The biggest Powerball jackpot ever recorded was $2.04 billion, won by a California ticket holder in November 2022. Another $1.817 billion jackpot won on Christmas Eve ranks among the largest lottery prizes ever awarded in the country.

For the Illinois winner, however, the excitement is only the beginning. The next challenge will be turning a once-in-a-lifetime lottery win into long-term financial security.
🚀 Beyond Copilot: How AI Code Editors Are Redefining Full-Stack Development in 2026

The era of simple code-completion is officially over. Remember when GitHub Copilot just auto-completed a function or generated a docstring? That was just the beginning.
Today, the way full-stack developers write, debug, and ship code has transformed dramatically. We’ve transitioned from "AI as an Assistant" to "AI as a Pair Programmer."
Here is a breakdown of how modern AI code editors (like Cursor, Windsurf, and Zed) are rewriting the rules of modern software engineering—and why you need to adapt.

Context-Aware Codebases (The Real Game-Changer)
Traditional autocompletion only understands the file you are currently working on. Modern AI tools ingest your entire repository, including:
External dependencies
Local environment setup (.env, Dockerfiles)
Architectural patterns across modules
The Difference: Instead of asking "How do I write an auth middleware in Next.js?", you can ask "Add JWT authentication to our API following the pattern we used in /lib/auth.ts."

Agentic Refactoring: From Prompting to Execution
We are moving away from copy-pasting code snippets from ChatGPT into our IDE. Modern AI IDEs feature Agentic Workflows:
You describe a bug or feature in natural language.
The AI scans multiple files, plans the edits, and applies diffs automatically.
It runs the local build/tests in the background.
If a build fails, it reads the terminal error and attempts to self-correct.

The New Developer Skillset
Does this mean traditional coding skills are obsolete? Absolutely not. But the priority has shifted:
Old Priority: Writing boilerplates manually, syntax memorization, line-by-line debugging.
New Priority: System Architecture & API Design, Code Review & Security Auditing, Context Management.
💡 Key Takeaway
AI won't replace software engineers, but engineers using AI effectively will replace those who don't.
The best strategy today is not to fight the tooling, but to master System Design so you can effectively review and guide the AI-generated code.
💬 What's your current stack?

Are you using Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or sticking to vanilla VS Code? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
