      <description>&lt;p&gt;I wrote a system I called Jake a very long time ago at Yahoo. I recently rewrote it for the modern era. If you or your reports are dealing with templating on  Node/Javascript this may be of interest to you. I also fiddled about a little with the details of crowd sourcing translations from a userbase directly onto the host application UI. That needs to be targeted at android obviously if we want to get to the punters.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There's a big picture objective to establish an open translation database, which would in turn drive more investment in early i18n and subsequent contribution to the public data set. We'd need a significant project in a notable corporation to float that.&lt;/p&gt;
