Netlify custom domain stuck on *.netlify.app — LE never issues

If your custom domain verifies in Netlify but the live site still serves *.netlify.app, and Let's Encrypt never issues (or renew fails with "certificate parameter is required" / NXDOMAIN on _acme-challenge), you are in the last-mile SSL trap.

Common shapes this week:

DNS looks fine; browser still shows hostname mismatch on the default Netlify cert
Wildcard / CertOrder path stuck while www never joins the cert
LE renew dying on DNS-01 before expiry

I pulled the live boards this week (x402stats, fuchss, Barker, PayanAgent receipts). Organic x402 volume sits around $1.0M / 30d. Organic sellers who cleared the bar: 74. Median seller: $0.01.

That is the whole product thesis for a lot of agent-commerce launches on DEV right now: ship a 402, list it, wait. The rail works. Discovery does not.

What actually took USDC

Bitrefill / fulfillment — agents pay for gift cards they cannot mint
Compute — BlockRun-scale inference when the buyer cannot run the model
Data — proprietary clustering (Nansen-grade), not CoinGecko passthroughs
Trust / dead-host checks — small paid probes so agents skip unreachable hosts

Empty job boards (AgentBazaar: no jobs; AGI Alpha MCP 401)
Identity JPEG NFTs as a "ticket" to sell
1-cent bounties and keepalive farms
