Side Project For Sale

Hello all, I'm here to wonder if anyone would be interested in buying a side project from me. I started this little project in September 2019 and from there I worked on it on and off during college and it's at it's final state of UI and functionality so where I just don't feel the same spark I once did when I started; probably because I have grown from a newbie.

The project itself is a Quote Generating App which features:

Four (4) categories
Adding to Favorites
A live section for the users to add their own quote to the app
Sharing feature

Although all features have not been implemented in this iteration the UI elements are all there at your disposal. Below is an image to display how the app looks, the app was built out using Flutter and Dart so that maybe useful to new comers or even juniors.

If interested please indicate below and we can come to some kind of agreement in which I will transfer the GitHub Repository ownership to you.

Hey guys!

Sorry I have been MIA for awhile, I was caught up with assignments and exams from the end of the semester but I'm done now so I just took a little break but I'm here and back. I have mostly been searching for a job and or internship as this is my last year of college but unfortunately my country doesn't offer jobs in my chosen profession of a software developer so I have to constantly search online and hope I get lucky so that has been taking up most of my time.

Aside from that, I will try to be more active here so my question to you guys:

What content would you like to see?
Do you have any questions?
Any specific projects you would like to see?
Any specific UI Designs you would like to see?

I have been getting back into Pen Note however I chose to restart the project to implement some better practices and to just essentially restart the process but I ran into a problem with the mark down package that I was using so I'm stuck with two options:

Create my own markdown package, and then implement it into the project
Wait until they sort the issue with the markdown package.

I think my only real option is to sit and create my own package and continue on, so I'm not so far behind but what do you think? Tell me below.

Hey guys it's been roughly a week I think since my last post here but I finally have an update to show regarding Pen Note.

So firstly I added all the other screens except two (empty and error state), I switched up a few things for the time being instead of linking it with a database I started off using the local storage to store all notes in the future I'll just send that file to the database for storage.

Following that I managed to add the edit, create and delete note functions and they can use more work but for the time being it's okay, however I'll be the first to day that it has a few bugs regarding the fetching from storage, I'll have to attend to in the near future but that's all for now. Hey guys it's been awhile but I'm here I've started working on a markdown editor in Flutter for web/mobile so you can follow along on my GitHub here

The Idea

The basic idea I had with this is that I would be a minimal markdown editor where you are able to sync on your different devices and edit as you go. I chose to go with flutter as it's the framework I'm currently working with extensively so I thought it may be good practice.

I plan to have it released for the public and then in the future maybe have it be open source where you guys can add your own touch to it. I've been working on it for just a little over three days so code you view may not be final it will change in the future.

I am not sure how quickly I can push updates as I'm currently in college right now and assignments are excessive but I will do my best, feel free to leave any comments or questions down below.

Creating a Blog UI using Figma

I used figma to design everything you see here and I'm thinking in the future to create my own icon set to distribute to you guys but I'd need your take on that.

Creating a Notepad using Java and JavaFX

Hello friends so I decided to learn a bit of JavaFX this year, it wasn't for any other reason than pure curiosity so without further ado I'll tell you what I did. It's far from perfect but if you'd like I could do a small tutorial for you guys so just let me know below!

Okay so for starters I wasn't new to Java I just had to re-acquaint myself with some syntax but aside from that this was all new to me. I tried watching some YouTube videos but none of them really caught my eye in the sense of learning because they were either outdated or was a speed code, so I went to the next best thing.. Books! I don't have the names on hand but they helped me a little so much so that I decided that I wanted to make a small app to test.

Planning

This project was fairly simply considering all I wanted to do was make a dark themed version on Windows' Notepad, and for the most part I accomplished that except for the bugs and other things that proved to be difficult. I originally had my own design that I wanted to do but I bit off more than I could chew 😅 here is the design if you wanted to see, feel free to use it just give credits and tag me if you do!

Picking a Side Project

Hey all I wanna work on a few side projects this year while learning Java and Javafx and I'd like to do a mobile app as well in Flutter so I was hoping you guys could suggest some projects ideas for me please or anything you'd like to see from me this year, it'll be a great help and I'll give credit if your suggestion was chosen.
