&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;Then we do &lt;code&gt;HEIGHT//2 - PADDLE_HEIGHT //2&lt;/code&gt; because if you just did &lt;code&gt;HEIGHT//2&lt;/code&gt; it will look like the way it is in the picture.
