Introducing Our SDG 16 Smart Safety Drone Project (By Michael Ssekabanja & Gabriel)

Today we are proud to share our SDG 16 project about Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
We designed a modern website and a peaceful Smart Safety Surveillance Drone concept to help communities reduce violence, detect danger early and improve fairness.

Our project connects technology with SDG 16 goals such as:

promoting peace

supporting justice

helping institutions respond faster

protecting vulnerable people

using drones for safety not violence

We also shared the impacts, disadvantages, and advantages of smart drone surveillance and how it can support safe schools and communities.

This project was created by Michael Ssekabanja and Gabriel, and we hope it inspires other students to combine technology with Sustainable Development Goals.

SDG 10 – Safe & Fair Migration Website (School Project)

Our SDG 10 project focuses on reducing inequalities by supporting safe and fair migration, especially Target 10.7. We designed a digital system that replaces slow paperwork and long lines with modern online features.

🌍 Key Features:
• Online visa application system
• Document uploads (passport, ID, photos, supporting documents)
• Application tracking and process updates
• Online payment demo
• Safe locations for migrants (embassy, shelters, hospitals, legal aid)
• Migration safety tips and rights information
• Interactive Google map
• Embedded SDG educational video

The goal is to show how technology can make migration safer, faster, and more organized for everyone.
This is a prototype created by Year 9 students and can grow into a real tool in the future.

This website provides conflict and war safety tips, OpenStreetMap safe locations, emergency call tools, peace education videos, and a cinematic intro. Designed to support Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 16 — Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions.
