My biggest mistake learning AI automation

When I started learning automation, I focused too much on tools.
“Should I learn n8n?”
“Should I learn Make?”
“Which AI model is best?”
But the bigger question is:
“What problem am I solving?”
A simple automation that saves a company 5 hours/week is more valuable than a complicated AI agent nobody uses.
My current approach:
Find a repetitive problem
Design the workflow
Add AI where it creates value
Improve based on feedback
Tools change quickly.
Problem-solving skills stay.
What was your biggest lesson when learning automation?

Building AI Automation for Real Businesses

I think the next wave of AI will not just be about people using ChatGPT.
It will be about businesses having their own:
🤖 AI assistants
⚡ Automated workflows
📞 Customer communication systems
📈 Growth engines
🧠 Internal knowledge systems
The opportunity is huge, but execution matters.
My focus is learning how to build solutions that are simple, reliable, and actually useful.
For everyone building here:
What is one AI automation project you would build if you had unlimited time and resources?

The Hard Part of AI Automation Nobody Talks About

Building an AI workflow is easy.
Building one that people can trust is the real challenge.
The interesting engineering problems are not only:
"Which AI model should I use?"
The deeper questions are:
→ How does the AI know when it is wrong?
→ How does it access reliable information?
→ How do we control its actions?
→ How do we monitor failures?
→ How do we make it useful at scale?
A production AI system is a combination of:
• AI models
• Data architecture
• Automation logic
• APIs and integrations
• User experience
• Security and monitoring
The model is only one piece of the puzzle.
I’m curious:
What is the biggest challenge you have faced while building AI automation systems?
Would love to learn from other builders here.😉

Motivation+Creativity+AI

What motivates you? Money? Probably Yes, but am No.
Create new things might amazingly attract me.
What can I build? Build new production that turns idea into real.
How much helpful for you. AI is powerful and helpful, but not perfect. Devers must fill this gap.

Thanks, guys.
