I shipped my first App Store puzzle app — and I’d love honest feedback

Hey everyone 👋

I’m a (pretty new) indie developer. A few weeks ago I finally got my first app onto the App Store, and I’m still a bit nervous about sharing it publicly.

The app is called Brainfool (Chinese: 傻了么).

It’s a tiny daily puzzle app — one game a day, chosen for you from Sudoku, Binary Puzzle, Nonogram, or Slitherlink. Offline, no ads, no rankings, no “which level should I play?” anxiety. Finish or give up, and you get a slightly sharp closing line. That’s the whole loop.

I built it because I got tired of puzzle apps that feel like homework factories. I wanted something quieter — open, play, close, come back tomorrow.

I’m not here to “crush it” or ask you to “support the launch.” Honestly, I’m just a beginner who shipped something and wants to learn.

If you have 2 minutes:

Try it (iOS, free): https://apps.apple.com/app/id6770218110

Tell me what felt confusing, boring, or oddly nice

Leave a rating/review if it didn’t waste your time — that would mean a lot to a solo newbie

Harsh feedback is welcome. Soft praise is welcome too. Silent downloads… also fine 😅

Thanks for reading. If you’ve shipped something as a beginner before: how did you ask for feedback without sounding desperate? I’m still figuring that part out.
