When you have a dream, you've got to grab it and never let go.

The amazing news is I've graduated; after six weeks of learning tech and soft skills, moreover working intensively, i would say that i am proud of what I've achieved.

I would like to start by thanking, codeofafrica in partnership with awesomity, for the opportunity they brought to us, to enhance our skills and work with their talented team.

Last week, as the final week of the bootcamp, our task was regarding to complete and demo the project, we've been working on. The task were as follow:

We had dockerize our ongoing project; In fact, i had no clue about dockerizing, but now i am surely confidence in it.

We also had to deploy the project on remote server(digitalocean), despite that was my first time to deploy the app, i finally deployed. Now i can deploy.

After preparation, finally we had to present the project we've been working, grateful that our project was ready.

Lastly, i would say though the journey might be challenging, but keep pushing because the future is in your hand. Many thanks to facilitators, teammates and others who was part of my journey; Kudos.

Hello guys!

Now the news is, we left with one week in TaskForce. Actually which is a good news for TaskForce 4 member, because we successfully reached the last week a long with valuable knowledge we gained in this internship.

Maybe your wondering how the firth week was like!
Last week was a week we had to continue our project of ShowApp, by integrating documentation, logs and API testing.

All this task had to be done within a week, and am grateful that the team i belong to, we tried to do all of them. And how we did our presentation on friday using swagger.

It's not only technical task, we also had several interesting session regarding time management, design thinking as well as requirements gathering. In all this session we had to do some exercise to give us a bigger picture of it.

I conclude by saying that, even though the journey has not yet ended but in general this internship was amazing. I can't wait to see what our last week has for us.

Last week was the fourth in Taskforce 4, and the last week of a month, we have been in bootcamp. I can say that last month was very educative either soft skills or project analysis skills.

We are now starting the firth, but let me first talk a bit about the last week. Which was also intensive than others.

The week started by structuring and naming the project folder and files with right convention. From that we have to work by ourselves with in team.

The task was to have all endpoint working by friday. Which in my insight wasn't that easy, cause we had to first learn by doing the structure of project, which took us 3 days to get it done. and the rest of week was to work on endpoints. gladly we did it team.

I can't end without saying interesting soft skills sessions we had, about stress management, and client communication in agile world.

By the end of the week, we also had a demo.

Hello guys; happily, i want to say that, we've ended our third task-force week. Heading to the fourth, which might be intensive. I hope you're all curious about the last week experience. In fact it is interesting.

Initially, this week sessions, was all about analyzing the showApp web, code review and soft skills level up.

Actually, i can say that analysis sessions were amazing; With the help of Regis(CodeofAfrica software Engineer), We discussed a lot about the project, and was finally productive because We learned a lot about project analysis and also the project phase has been successful.

Code review
We had session of reviewing the codes, that introduced to us the theory behind code reviewing.

We also had several soft skills session, that emphasized on team cultural, cultural awareness and communication. In fact, all this sessions were very educative because now i could say that I've improved in my communication skills of how you could communicate with people of diverse cultural.

In short, third week was awesome. now i am confident enough to analyze the project on my own.

The more time passes, the more things get intense and super cool; Chris said. In fact, the second week was a bit intense but educative. We had awesome sessions with Awesomity CTO, emphasized on several technologies and practices used in tech companies. But what are they? let me not keep you wondering.

Git work Flow
I've already had an experience working with git, but at this session also, i learned new tricks and their favorite practice.

You may wonder, which version control?
Actually, was gitlab. I had no more experience working with gitlab, but this session made us superman in it. Way from creating account to pull request continuous integration with gitlab pipeline.

Docker
We also had a session about docker. More of self learning.

Lastly, we had a presentation on Friday, each summarizing what we learned the whole week. Actually, on my side was like an evaluation of how am good in presenting. which also something i have to improve in.

Task force 4.0 week 1 Journal

Initially, I would like to mention even though week one was a bit challenging, however, was a great experience. But how?

Maybe you're wondering how in the first week, we had a great experience I got you. We started our week by playing a strategic game as a team; to replace an egg from the ground to the top of the bottle using a ring and thread, but unfortunately, none of the team did it. However, we learned that a good strategy is a key to success. On the following day, they gave us codewars to solve, despite that were not easy for me, helped me to realize that I have to improve in problem-solving. On the same day, we learned how to write user stories. We then had a session on intercultural communication that emphasized how we should be communicating with diverse people by knowing their beliefs and values in advance.

Afterward, we discussed what someone should do before, during, and after the call. In this session, I was introduced to mirro software, which is very helpful for presentation.

Although we had a great experience, we also had challenges. It was very critical for us to submit on time but taught us to be punctual. For example, we were supposed to do a presentation after 1 hour, but we used 15 plus minutes for preparation.

In conclusion, I could not end without saying how our first-week Friday was stunning. On this day, we started by pitching the project, introducing ourselves, and then we had a party along with a critical thinking game we played against former employees. Unfortunately, they beat us.

In short, I would say first week was awesome, looking forward to the second.
