There are now thousands of AI tools, MCP servers, skills, and prompts scattered across the internet.

Finding an AI tool isn't difficult anymore. Finding the right one is.

I kept running into this problem myself, so I decided to build something to make AI resource discovery easier.

Meet AIMarketly

AIMarketly is a searchable directory for discovering AI resources in one place.

The catalog currently includes:

🤖 21,000+ AI tools
🧩 11,000+ AI skills
🔌 12,000+ MCP servers
✍️ 2,000+ prompts
📚 40,000+ AI resources overall

The goal is simple:

Make it easier to discover useful AI resources without searching through dozens of different websites.

Why another AI directory?

There are already many AI directories.

The problem is that the AI ecosystem has grown so quickly that finding useful resources can itself become a challenge.

You might be looking for an AI coding assistant, an MCP server, a RAG tool, an automation platform, or a prompt library — but the information is spread across different websites, repositories, communities, and product pages.

I wanted AIMarketly to focus on discovery, organization, and search rather than simply maintaining another long list of links.

What can you find on AIMarketly?

The platform covers different types of AI resources, including:

AI Tools

Discover tools for:

Coding
Writing
Image generation
Video generation
Marketing
SEO
Productivity
Research
Automation
Business
MCP Servers

MCP is becoming an important part of the AI developer ecosystem.

AIMarketly includes a dedicated collection of MCP servers so developers can discover servers for different use cases and integrations.

AI Skills

AI skills provide reusable capabilities and instructions that can be used in AI-powered workflows and applications.

The directory makes these resources easier to discover and explore.

Prompts

Prompt libraries can be useful when you're trying to improve your results with AI models.

AIMarketly also organizes prompts alongside other AI resources.

The real challenge: keeping everything organized

Building the website was only part of the problem.

The AI ecosystem changes constantly.

New products appear every day. Existing products change their features, pricing, categories, and positioning. New technologies also create entirely new categories.

That means an AI directory needs more than a database of URLs.

It needs a system for:

Discovery → Categorization → Organization → Search → Updating

That's an ongoing challenge I'm continuing to work on.

What I'm building next

There are several things I want to improve:

Better search and filtering
More detailed tool information
AI-powered recommendations
Better tool comparisons
More MCP resources
Developer-focused collections
Community submissions
Curated AI workflows
Better discovery across different AI categories

I'm also interested in using AI to improve the discovery process itself.

Instead of searching for:

"best AI coding tools"

you could eventually describe what you're trying to accomplish and receive a relevant collection of tools.

Why I built it

As a developer, I regularly experiment with new AI tools, frameworks, APIs, and automation platforms.

The number of available resources has grown enormously.

At some point, the challenge stopped being:

"Is there an AI tool for this?"

and became:

"Which one should I actually try?"

That's the problem AIMarketly is trying to solve.

For developers

I'm particularly interested in hearing from developers building with:

LLMs
AI agents
MCP
RAG
AI APIs
AI automation
Developer tools
AI-powered applications

How do you currently discover new tools?

Do you use Google, GitHub, Reddit, Product Hunt, newsletters, social media, or AI directories?

I'm interested in understanding how other developers discover and evaluate new AI resources.

Try AIMarketly

You can explore the directory here:

If you know an AI tool, MCP server, skill, or prompt that should be listed, I'd also love to hear about it.

I'm building AIMarketly as an independent project and would genuinely appreciate feedback from the developer community.

One question for you

What's your biggest problem when discovering new AI tools today?

Is it finding them, comparing them, knowing which ones are trustworthy, or simply keeping up with how quickly the ecosystem changes?
