My HNG 8.0 Internship Journey

The Journey Begins

The HNG internship is a 3-month remote internship with thousands of people participating from several countries. The noise on social media and success stories from previous participants has been quite loud.
I had a tough time deciding to apply for HNG, mostly because I don’t dub myself ready, as I just began to learn basic tech skills, reading tweets from people about the internship sounded like it was a dragon's den sought of scenario,
Everyone likes a competition when they are ready, especially in a new field, I signed up three days after I got the email, then I joined the slack space, I must say people are hungry and ready for the challenge, this is both a motivating and terrifying the same time, I have signed up for the front end track with my priorities clear

Sharpen my frontend skill

Work with a team and be useful to the team

Meet people who are on this tech journey with me and learn how they are going about it.

See how far I can go, at least stage 7 and hopefully further as I am ready to push myself.

Success for me will be closing out these four points and anything more will be an extra win, currently we are just getting started and I hope to keep a record of my story on this blog.

To learn more about HNG check https://internship.zuri.team

Below are beginner friendly tutorials to guide a beginner with Figma , GIT, HTML and JavaScript introduction these are very important tools needed for web development, a complete knowledge of these should be enough to get anyone started.
