developer lazy life

A Day in the Life of My Laziness

Introduction
I woke up in the morning, said my prayers, and then — instead of jumping into action I went straight back to sleep. Ten minutes of praying turned into thirty minutes of snoozing. When I finally got up again, I brushed my teeth half-awake, grabbed a quick breakfast, and dragged myself to work.
At Work: The Art of Doing Nothing Work is quiet when I don’t have tasks, so I escape into YouTube. I never plan what to watch; I just click on whatever looks interesting. One video leads to another, and suddenly I’m watching something random that I didn’t even know existed.
Coffee is my other weakness. One cup is never enough — the moment I finish, I crave another. It’s like my energy fuel, but instead of making me productive, it just helps me stay comfortably lazy.
And whenever there’s something new to learn, I always tell myself, “I’ll do it at home where it’s more comfortable.” But when I get home… comfort wins, and learning loses.
The Dreamer in Me The funny part is, I actually love starting new things. I’ve tried learning crochet, making flowers, data analysis, and even Arabic. Every time, I start with excitement — but I never finish a full project.
My biggest dream is to create my own Quran app for the community. I imagine how amazing it would be… yet I’ve never written a single line of code for it. The ideas live in my head, but they never make it to reality.
Evening: My Kingdom of Laziness
When I finally reach home, I head straight to my bed. My phone becomes my world — endless reels, random scrolling, and chatting with strangers. Hours pass by without me realizing. It’s my lazy routine, repeated day after day.
Conclusion
So this is my life: a mix of naps, coffee, half-finished learning, and endless plans. Some people might call it laziness, but I think of it as being a “professional starter of things.” Maybe one day, I’ll surprise myself and actually finish a project — maybe even that Quran app. Until then, I’ll keep dreaming, scrolling, and sipping my coffee.
