Different kind of post from me today. No live link, no repo — just introducing a project, because we're not ready to open the doors yet.

🇧🇩 What is Prangon?

Prangon is a social network being built in Bangladesh. The tagline on the app says it straight: next-generation social networking.

The project has been in development for 9+ months. It started as a solo project — recently I joined, so now it's a duo 😂

🎨 The design language

We went the opposite way of typical social apps: airy whites and refined neutrals instead of the usual dark or oversaturated look, thin editorial stroke icons, heavy glass-morphism with frosted glass surfaces, and Electric Coral (#FF4F5A) as the brand accent.

✨ The features

Profile Theme System — our most distinctive one. Four themes: Default, Gold (subtle premium amber), Platinum (cool chrome/silver), and Nitro (premium mono with animated elements). Each theme restyles your post cards, borders and visual treatment. Pick the one that matches your personality.
Animated GIF Cover Photos — Nitro-exclusive. Premium users can upload animated GIF profile covers, regular users get static ones. The platform even validates GIF-only uploads based on theme.
Premium Styling Hierarchy — post cards visually distinguish tiers: standard borders for regular users, amber for Gold verified, chrome/zinc for Platinum, and monochrome with a subtle white glow for Nitro. An aspirational ladder: default → gold → platinum → nitro.
Post Pinning & Curation — pin your best posts to your profile so visitors see your greatest hits first.
Live Analytics Dashboard — built in, Instagram-Insights-style: profile views with trend percentages, content reach (reactions × 3), reaction tracking, and share counts with historical comparison. No separate app needed.
Double-Tap Heart + Custom Reactions — the classic double-tap-to-like with heart animation, plus emoji reactions beyond a plain like.
Smart Adaptive Header — the header collapses and expands based on scroll, smoothly hiding and revealing search and icons depending on screen space. Fluid, responsive navigation.
Progressive Profile Depth — profile data visibility is controlled per user (follow status decides what others can see). Privacy plus social dynamics.

And under the hood it's PWA-first, with role-based access and SEO baked in.

🐛 Where it stands

We have a stable version working. But it still has some bugs, so we're not releasing it publicly yet — we'd rather polish it than ship something half-broken.

No launch date yet. When the bugs are squashed, we'll share it here first.

I Built a Motion-Driven Messi Tribute Site — Messi Aura 🐐

Hey DEV fam! 👋

This one is an old build of mine — Messi Aura, a tribute site for Lionel Messi. The tagline says it all: MESSI — Game-Elevating Greatness.

It was crafted to feel less like a website and more like an atmosphere — smooth motion, soft blurs, expressive typography, and clean rounded UI everywhere.

There's a hero, a Goals page, a Records page, a Gallery, a dock-style club toggle... but I'm not going to spill everything here. Go check it yourself ⚽

I Built a Cinematic Tribute Website for Rituparno Ghosh — RUDRA DA 🎬

Rituparno Ghosh — one of India's most celebrated film directors and screenwriters, the director behind Unishe April, Chokher Bali, Raincoat, The Last Lear and Chitrangada: The Crowning Wish. So I built him a digital museum.

🎞️ What I built

RUDRA DA is a single-page tribute website — a quiet, editorial, black-and-white museum of his life and work. It features:

🎥 Full-screen cinematic hero with an animated title reveal

🍿 Netflix-inspired Creations section — all 20 of his films (1992–2013) in a scrollable carousel, with real posters, cast, and "watch now" links

🔎 Film detail modals — synopsis, cast, awards for each film

🏆 Achievements timeline — his National Film Awards, from Unishe April (Best Feature Film, 1995) onwards

🎙️ Documentaries — his work beyond fiction, including Bird of Dusk and Jeevan Smriti

📷 Memories gallery — moments and quotes from his life

🖤 Monochrome editorial aesthetic — dark, minimal, timeless

📱 Fully responsive — polished on mobile and desktop

🤖 The honest part: I vibe-coded it

I'm a Bangladeshi web developer, AI-assisted builder, vibe coder — learning by building. AI tools did the heavy lifting; I directed.

AI is great at the 80% — layout, components, animations. The last 20% took real patience. Don't take my word for it, take my commit history's:

Fix image src attribute in Hero component
Adjust image positioning in Hero component
Enhance SEO with author and Open Graph meta tags

That's where I actually learned the most.

Movie Hub - Free Movie Streaming Site (Serverless & No Data Collection)

While messing around with random API keys, I thought why not build something actually useful. So I created Movie Hub — a free movie streaming website with features like watch history, watchlist, search, and more.

It's completely serverless and doesn't collect any user data.
