I Built a Lightweight AI Cold-DM Tool on My 8GB RAM Laptop

A few weeks ago, I got tired of sending cold DMs that either sounded robotic or got ignored completely.

Most outreach tools I tried generated messages that felt too corporate, too generic, or just obvious AI copy-paste.

So I started building a small desktop tool called LURE to experiment with better outreach angles.

The goal wasn’t “spam more people.”
It was:

shorter messages

more human tone

curiosity-based conversation starters

platform-specific outreach styles

The interesting part:
I built and packaged the entire thing on my low-end 8GB RAM laptop while learning along the way.

Things I worked through:

AI prompt structuring

desktop packaging

Windows + macOS builds

UI tweaking

handling weird JSON outputs

fixing API/server errors

optimizing response speed

What started as a tiny experiment somehow became a full working product — and recently got its first sale online.

Still improving it daily, but shipping it taught me more than months of overthinking ever did.

Would genuinely love feedback from developers, freelancers, or anyone doing outreach.

If anyone wants to test it or give feedback:

Windows:
Lure for Windows

MacOS:
Lure for MacOS

Launch discount code: PH50
