HTML CSS and JavaScript are used majorly in web development. If you want to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, you are learning web development. HTML and CSS are easy to understand, while JavaScript is a bit challenging.

HTML is the easiest to learn. CSS is not very difficult to understand but very, very involving. In JavaScript, the challenge of learning JavaScript is well-documented by many web developers across the divide.

For any web developer, all students of web developer these three languages are essential.

There are blogs, YouTube channels, and books that cater to the newbie up to the expert.

Type of Learners

There are four types of learners: visual learners, kinesthetic learners, auditory learners, and writing or reading learners. As an individual, it is essential to know the kind of learner you are.

Visual Learners

A visual learner is an individual who strongly prefers to learn through observing, seeing diagrams pictures. This type of learner is also known as spatial. Here the learner will understand quickly when the information is visually presented; hence visual learners learn web development quite well through watching videos.

Auditory Learners

An auditory learner is a student who learns through listening to the sound instead of watching, writing, or reading the material. Most auditory learners favor reading aloud.

Kinesthetic Learners

The learners are also known as tactile learners. They learn through doing things or experiencing. They like to get their hands dirty, which involves touching, tweaking, and handling to comprehend the concept. Notably, this learner may find it challenging to spend time alone learning new material periods and prone to struggle in learning.

Writing or Reading Learners

According to meals are flaming 1992 in their VARK modalities Theory, writing or reading learners favor learning through written words. These learners prefer learning through writing or reading books, articles, and blogs to master new concepts.

Learning Web Development

You will likely fall into the four broad types of learners discussed above—learning web development.

You will have to be visual to see the syntax of the code. Likewise, you will need to listen to instructions when how and why a code is written the way it is written. In addition, for you to master the language, you must write code.

Even though they are extremes, most students exhibit the four types of learners in different degree levels.

As a newbie web developer, I have faced numerous challenges in my journey of learning web development. Web development is a skill that is not common; hence it requires consistent effort and pragmatism.

From my experience, I have noted some recurring problems and challenges.

Lack of Universal Topics

There are so many schools of thought on what is the best approach to learning web development. In addition, there are many upcoming and emerging Technologies that add more confusion to a newbie period for rentals. There are many frameworks such as good boo and react just name of you.

Lack of Mentors

Due to the nature of web development, most developers work as employees, contractors freelancers. As a result, the experience or seen developers cannot help or guide newbies during their early times of learning. Moreover, the disconnect between the expert developer and a newbie is excabated by inefficient communication.

Distractions

The internet is offering a whole universe of entertainment education and some other material between the two. Thus it is very tempting for a newbie to look for entertainment at the expense of education. For example, it is easy to serve or scroll the Facebook feeds instead of practicing coding while online.

Coast of Learning

Here we are talking about cost in terms of time and money. Learning web development requires a lot of time and some money. For example, for a newbie to master any language necessary for web development, they must spend considerable time studying the material and practicing. On the other hand, getting relevant material from the internet will require some investment in money.

Conclusion

As a newbie, it is essential to note that these challenges are valid depending on your location, age, ambition, and, most importantly, drive. As you have seen, most of these challenges can be overcome as it is the responsibility of a newbie to understand that mastering web development is not a walk in the park.
