The Offendersearch Criminal Records API gives developers one call across county jail rosters, statewide prison systems, court records and dispositions, warrant systems and statewide registries, covering more than a thousand county, state and federal jurisdictions with coverage in every US state. Searches return scored candidate matches in a single schema, and every record is cited to the jurisdiction and source it came from. A cached search answers instantly; live verification re-checks the actual jurisdictions in-request for $0.02 per source, capped at $2.00. Batch search accepts JSON or CSV, and a verification PDF can be generated per result. Pricing is $0.15 per call, dropping to $0.11 past 2,000 calls a month, with a free trial, on the same account and key as the Offendersearch sex offender registry API. Every record carries the registry it came from and the fields that matched, so a reviewer can see why a result surfaced and cite it. A second endpoint searches criminal records from court and corrections sources. Optional monitoring re-runs a person or location search nightly and reports changes.
