Introduction

Cars.ng is an online platform for buying, and selling vehicles in Nigeria. It connects buyers with sellers, offering features such as car listings, search filters etc.
This exploratory test aimed to assess the platform’s usability, functionality, and performance to identify potential issues that could impact user experience.

Methodology

Test Approach: Session-based exploratory testing
Test Environment:
- Device: Windows 10, Android 13
- Browsers: Chrome (v120)
- Network: 4G mobile data, Wi-Fi (50 Mbps)
Scope & Focus Areas:
- Search and filtering functionality
- Car listing details and images
- User registration and login
- Contact Seller

Findings

There were a number of bugs/issues identified while exploring the Cars.ng site, these were well documented as seen in the Bug report. Worth of note is that, two of the bugs/issues identified belongs to the critical severity category.
One or two scenarios observed were non relevant pictures being uploaded for a vehicle listing.

Recommendation

The recommendation report herein highlights functions and features that can be improved.
