      <description>&lt;p&gt;The core architectural components of Microsoft Azure include:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;Azure Regions: These are geographically distributed datacenter locations where Azure resources are hosted. Each region consists of multiple datacenters.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;Availability Zones: These provide redundancy and high availability within a region. Availability Zones are physically separate datacenters with independent power, cooling, and networking.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;Resource Groups: These are logical containers for managing and organizing Azure resources. You can group related resources together for easier management.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
