The site can't see Venmo or Cash App, so the counter is on the honor system: after you send, you tap "I sent my $1" and the shared count goes up (one tap per device, rate-limited). The footer says this plainly.</li> <li>Nothing is sold, no email is collected, no tracking beyond the counter.</li> </ul> <p>Why: I'm curious about the gap between "that's a funny idea" and "I'll actually do it," and what the curve of 10,000 tiny decisions looks like.
