Open Satchel is live.

Open Satchel is local-first document software built around a simple idea: your files should stay yours.

No forced cloud upload. No account gate. No watermark trap. No subscription wall just to work with your own documents.

This is early software. It will have bugs, rough edges, and missing pieces. It is not yet on the level of the established document giants. Getting there will take continued development, feedback, and time.

But that is the goal: practical document software that respects local files and user ownership.

If you try it, I'd sincerely appreciate your patience, bug reports, and feedback.
