LeeX Beta is the early-stage version of LeeX, a local discovery platform designed to help people discover businesses, events, and infrastructure within their city.
The vision is simple:
Make every city easier to discover.
Rather than focusing only on maps or search, LeeX aims to organize local information into a structured discovery ecosystem.

The Problem
Modern cities contain thousands of businesses, events, and locations.
Many remain difficult to discover online because information is spread across different platforms.
Users often switch between:
Search engines
Maps applications
Social networks
Event websites
Business directories
This creates friction during the discovery process.
The LeeX Solution
LeeX is built around three pillars:
Businesses
Helping businesses become easier to discover.
Events
Creating a centralized space for event discovery.
Infrastructure
Making important locations visible and accessible.

New businesses open every day.
Events happen every weekend.
Interesting places exist in every neighborhood.
The challenge isn't that these opportunities don't exist.
The challenge is discovering them.
The Inspiration
While observing how people find places and services, I noticed that discovery often feels disconnected.
People search on one platform.
Navigate on another.
Find recommendations elsewhere.
There is no unified discovery experience.
This observation led to an idea:
What if businesses, events, and places existed within a single discovery ecosystem?

Every day, people search for businesses, events, restaurants, services, and places around them. Yet this information is often scattered across multiple platforms, making discovery fragmented and inefficient.

This challenge inspired the creation of LeeX Beta.

What is LeeX Beta?

Looking Ahead

LeeX Beta represents the first step toward a larger vision.

A future where discovering a city becomes as seamless as browsing the web.

LeeX — The Discovery Layer of Every City.

Why I Started Building LeeX

Most cities are full of opportunities.

Enter LeeX

LeeX is a local discovery platform designed to help people explore their city more effectively.

The platform focuses on:

Business Discovery

Event Discovery

Location Intelligence

Community Exploration

The Mission

The mission behind LeeX is to improve visibility.

Because visibility creates opportunity.

When people can discover more, communities grow stronger.

The Journey Continues

LeeX is still in development, but every step forward brings the vision closer to reality.

Building in public means sharing the journey as it happens.

This is only the beginning.

Oscar Awowari Founder & CEO, LeeX

Introducing LeeX Beta

Today, I'm excited to share a project I've been building called LeeX Beta.

LeeX Beta is an experiment in rethinking how local discovery works.

What is Local Discovery?

Local discovery is the process of finding:

Businesses

Events

Landmarks

Services

Experiences

around you.

While the internet contains vast amounts of local information, much of it remains difficult to organize and explore.

What Makes LeeX Different?

LeeX focuses on creating a structured ecosystem for discovery.

Instead of treating businesses, events, and locations as separate experiences, LeeX brings them together.

The goal is to help users discover not only where something is, but also why it matters.

Long-Term Vision

The long-term vision is ambitious:

To build the discovery layer of every city.

A platform where local information becomes more visible, searchable, and useful.

Founder

My name is Oscar Awowari, and I'm the Founder and CEO of LeeX.

Through LeeX Beta, I'm exploring new ways to improve how people connect with places and opportunities around them.

Thank you for following the journey.

LeeX — Discover More.

LeeX Is More Than a Name
Most people see LeeX as a brand.
Some see it as a platform.
Some see it as a startup.
But for me, LeeX has always carried another meaning.
Lee eXperience.
Because every place is more than a location.
Every place contains experiences.
A university contains dreams.
A hospital contains hope.
An airport contains journeys.
A hotel contains memories.
A stadium contains emotions.
A city contains millions of stories.
LeeX is inspired by a simple idea:
The world is not made of places.
The world is made of experiences that happen in places.
🌍 LeeX = Lee eXperience

Your Life Is a Collection of Experiences
Think about the most important moments of your life.
Your first day at school.
Your first football match.
Your first flight.
Your graduation.
Your first job interview.
Your wedding.
Your favorite vacation.
Notice something?
Every memory happened somewhere.
Every milestone happened somewhere.
Every achievement happened somewhere.
Behind every location is an experience.
That's why LeeX isn't only about discovery.
It's about understanding the experiences that make places meaningful.
LeeX = Lee eXperience.

Places Are Just Containers
A restaurant is not the food.
A stadium is not the concrete.
A hotel is not the building.
An airport is not the runway.
A university is not the classroom.
Those things are simply containers.
What people actually remember are the experiences inside them.
The celebration.
The friendship.
The opportunity.
The journey.
The memory.
That's the philosophy behind LeeX.
Because experiences are what give places value.

The Hidden Meaning Behind LeeX
People often ask:
"What does LeeX mean?"
My answer is simple.
LeeX represents discovery.
LeeX represents connection.
LeeX represents experiences.
The "X" stands for experiences, exploration, and possibilities.
Because life is not measured by locations visited.
Life is measured by experiences lived.
Every city.
Every business.
Every event.
Every community.
Every landmark.

Why Experiences Matter
At the end of your life, you won't remember every address.
You won't remember every coordinate.
You won't remember every street name.
But you'll remember experiences.
You'll remember the concert.
You'll remember the graduation.
You'll remember the football match.
You'll remember the city you fell in love with.
You'll remember the people you met.
You'll remember the moments that changed your life.
That's why experiences matter.
And that's why LeeX exists.
To help people discover not just places, but the experiences waiting inside them.

When most people search online, they are usually looking for information.

Google helps organize information.

Social media helps organize people.

E-commerce platforms help organize products.

But I keep asking myself a different question:

Who is organizing the world's places?

Think about your city.

Thousands of businesses exist.

Hundreds of events happen every year.

Important infrastructure surrounds us every day.

Hospitals.

Universities.

Hotels.

Airports.

Stadiums.

Billboards.

Tourist attractions.

Markets.

Government facilities.

Restaurants.

Parks.

Communities.

Most of these places exist online, but their information is often scattered.

A business has a website.

An Instagram page.

A Facebook page.

A Google listing.

Reviews.

Videos.

Photos.

Mentions on blogs.

Mentions on forums.

The information exists.

The place itself does not have a single digital identity.

This observation became the foundation of LeeX.

The vision is simple:

One Profile. One Location Page. One Source of Truth.

The current version, LeeX Beta, focuses on three pillars:

🏢 Businesses

🎟 Events

🏗 Infrastructure

Because these three categories exist in every city on Earth.

A business creates economic activity.

An event creates experiences.

Infrastructure creates connectivity.

Together they shape how people experience a city.

One thing I've learned while working on LeeX is that people rarely remember coordinates.

People remember experiences.

They remember the hotel where they stayed.

The university where they studied.

The hospital that helped their family.

The stadium where they watched a match.

The concert they attended.

The airport where a journey began.

The billboard they saw every day on their way to work.

The restaurant where they celebrated an important moment.

Every place contains experiences.

This is one reason I sometimes describe LeeX as:

Lee eXperience.

Because behind every location is a story.

Behind every business is a dream.

Behind every event is a memory.

Behind every piece of infrastructure is an impact on people's lives.

The long-term vision extends beyond discovery.

This is where LeeX AI comes in.

Before AI can understand places, places must first be organized.

Before intelligence comes structure.

Before recommendations come discoverability.

Imagine asking:

"What are the most important locations in Port Harcourt?"

"Which businesses are shaping this area?"

"What events should I attend this month?"

"What infrastructure projects are transforming this city?"

Those questions require more than search.

They require location intelligence.

That is the journey LeeX is beginning.

For now, the focus remains on building the foundation.

Not just another social platform.

Not just another directory.

But a discovery ecosystem for businesses, events, and infrastructure.

The world's information is organized.

The world's places are not.

Perhaps that is one of the biggest opportunities still waiting to be built.

LeeX AI — Building the intelligence layer for the world's places.

LeeX AI: What If Artificial Intelligence Could Understand Places?

When most people hear the term Artificial Intelligence today, they think about chatbots, image generation, content creation, coding assistants, automation, and virtual assistants.

These are impressive innovations, but I believe we are still in the early stages of understanding what AI can become.

Most AI systems today are designed to understand information.

Some understand images.

Some understand text.

Some understand videos.

Some understand code.

But one question continues to interest me:

What if AI could truly understand places?

Not just their coordinates.

Not just their names.

But their meaning.

Their importance.

Their activity.

Their experiences.

Their relationships to the world around them.

This is one of the ideas behind LeeX AI.

LeeX AI is the long-term intelligence layer being envisioned for the LeeX ecosystem.

Before discussing AI, let's look at a simple reality.

Every day, billions of people interact with locations.

People visit hospitals.

People attend events.

People stay in hotels.

People study in universities.

People travel through airports.

People visit restaurants.

People shop at businesses.

People use infrastructure.

Almost everything important in life happens somewhere.

Yet most digital systems understand very little about the places where life actually happens.

A map can show where a hospital is.

But can it explain its impact on the community?

A search engine can show where a stadium is.

But can it understand the experiences associated with that stadium?

A review platform can display opinions.

But can it understand the broader role that location plays in a city?

This is where I believe a new opportunity exists.

Imagine a future where AI understands the world's places the same way search engines understand websites.

Imagine asking:

"What are the most important locations in Port Harcourt?"

"Which areas are growing fastest?"

"What businesses are shaping the local economy?"

"Which events are attracting the most attention?"

"What infrastructure projects are transforming the city?"

"What places should I visit if I want to understand this community?"

Those questions require more than search.

They require context.

They require relationships.

They require location intelligence.

And location intelligence requires structure.

This is one reason why LeeX Beta comes before LeeX AI.

Before intelligence comes organization.

Before recommendations come data.

Before understanding comes discovery.

LeeX Beta focuses on three pillars:

🏢 Businesses

🎟 Events

🏗 Infrastructure

These pillars create the foundation upon which future intelligence can be built.

Because AI cannot understand places that have not first been organized.

The long-term vision of LeeX AI is not simply to answer questions.

It is to help people understand the physical world.

To understand cities.

To understand communities.

To understand opportunities.

To understand experiences.

To understand how places connect with one another.

Think about the world's greatest cities.

Dubai.

London.

New York.

Singapore.

Lagos.

Port Harcourt.

Each city contains thousands of locations.

Millions of experiences.

Countless stories.

Yet most of that knowledge remains fragmented.

LeeX AI explores what becomes possible when places become connected through structured digital identities.

A future where every business, event, hospital, airport, university, landmark, stadium, hotel, billboard, and community can be understood not just individually, but as part of a larger ecosystem.

The internet organized information.

Social media organized people.

E-commerce organized products.

Perhaps the next frontier is organizing places.

And perhaps the next generation of AI will not simply understand information.

Perhaps it will understand the world itself.

That is the long-term vision behind LeeX AI.

A future where discovering a place is no longer enough.

A future where technology helps us understand why that place matters.

Oscar Awowari (Oscar Lee)
Founder & CEO, LeeX

Elvis Awowari

LeeX — Discover. Connect. Experience.

LeeX Beta — Building the discovery layer for Businesses, Events, and Infrastructure.

LeeX AI — Building the intelligence layer for the world's places. 🌍🤖🚀

Every company builds a website.

Every organization builds a website.

Every institution builds a website.

Every brand builds a website.

The website became the digital home of the internet.

But something interesting is happening.

People increasingly care less about websites and more about experiences.

They want to know:

Where should I go?

What should I do?

What's happening nearby?

What businesses should I discover?

What places matter most?

What opportunities exist around me?

These are not website questions.

They are place questions.

And that shift may become one of the most important trends of the next decade.

The Physical World Is Becoming Digital

Every year, more of the physical world moves online.

Hotels have digital presences.

Restaurants have digital presences.

Hospitals have digital presences.

Universities have digital presences.

Events have digital presences.

Tourist attractions have digital presences.

Cities themselves increasingly have digital presences.

Yet despite this progress, information about places remains fragmented.

A hotel may have:

A website

A Google profile

An Instagram account

A Facebook page

Reviews

Blog mentions

Travel listings

The information exists everywhere.

But understanding remains difficult.

People don't simply want information.

People want context.

The Difference Between Information and Understanding

Information tells you a hotel exists.

Understanding tells you why people choose it.

Information tells you a hospital exists.

Understanding tells you what services it offers and who it serves.

Information tells you an event exists.

Understanding tells you why it matters.

This distinction becomes increasingly important as the amount of information online continues to grow.

The future challenge is no longer producing information.

The future challenge is organizing it.

Why LeeX Exists

This question became one of the reasons I started building LeeX.

My name is Oscar Awowari, also known as Oscar Lee.

While studying how people discover businesses, events, infrastructure, and opportunities, I noticed a pattern.

People rarely think in categories.

People think in experiences.

A tourist doesn't think:

"I need a business listing."

They think:

"I need somewhere to stay."

A student doesn't think:

"I need infrastructure data."

They think:

"I need a university."

A traveler doesn't think:

"I need geographic information."

They think:

"I need to understand this city."

The problem is that most platforms organize categories.

People seek experiences.

LeeX Beta

This observation led to the current focus of LeeX Beta.

Three pillars:

🏢 Businesses

🎟 Events

🏗 Infrastructure

These three categories shape nearly every city in the world.

Businesses drive economies.

Events create experiences.

Infrastructure connects communities.

Together they form the foundation of location discovery.

Every city has them.

Every country depends on them.

Every opportunity connects to them.

The Future of LeeX AI

The long-term vision extends beyond discovery.

This is where LeeX AI enters the picture.

Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly powerful.

But intelligence requires structure.

AI cannot fully understand places that are poorly organized.

Before intelligence comes discovery.

Before recommendations come organization.

Before understanding comes visibility.

Imagine asking:

"What are the most important locations in this city?"

"Which businesses are shaping the local economy?"

"What events should I attend this month?"

"What infrastructure projects are changing this area?"

"What opportunities exist nearby?"

Those are not search questions.

They are understanding questions.

And understanding requires a completely different layer of technology.

A World Built Around Places

For years, technology companies focused on organizing content.

The next generation may focus on organizing places.

Not simply through maps.

Not simply through directories.

Not simply through search.

But through connected digital identities.

A future where every business, event, hospital, university, airport, hotel, billboard, landmark, and community can be discovered, understood, and connected.

That is the vision behind LeeX.

That is the foundation of LeeX Beta.

And that is the long-term opportunity behind LeeX AI.

Because every opportunity exists somewhere.

Every experience happens somewhere.

Every story begins somewhere.

And every place deserves to be discovered.
