Hello everybody,

I've started to read the classic GoF Design Patterns book and I'd like to open this discussion to know what people who have read the book (or are currently reading it) think are the core ideas from it and what they found to be its most useful pieces of knowledge.

I would also like to collect some of the messages and make a list of key points that could be further extended as well and convert it into a collaborative post.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts.
