      <description>&lt;p&gt;Extract method é um dos métodos mais comuns de refatoração(refectoring) que podem ser aplicados.&lt;br&gt;
Geralmentre quando temos um método que é muito longo, que possui algum comentario para que seu proposito seja melhor descrito, provavelmente seja um sintoma de que esse método deveria ser fragmentado em partes menores e mais descritivas de seu propósito, através de um bom nome.&lt;/p&gt;

  Como funciona
&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;crie um novo método e o nomeie de acordo com see propósito, ou seja, &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;o que ele faz&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; e não como ele faz.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;Copie o código extraido do método original para esse novo método.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;Procure no código extraido por referencias a quaisquer variáveis que sejam locais ao escopo do método original.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;Caso necessário use Replace Temp with Query ou Split Temporary Variable (outro artigo sobre esses temas em breve)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;Substitua o código extraido no método original por uma chamada ao novo método.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;Teste&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Comentarios podem indeicar pedaços de métodos que podem ser extraidos, inclusive commentarios podem indicar possíveis nomes para os novos métodos.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Para extrair o método que desenha o banner é simples, apenas copie e cole o código no novo método. O problema real são as variáveis locais. &lt;br&gt;
O caso mais simples é quando as variáveis são de lidas mas não modificadas. Neste caso podemos passa-las como parâmetro.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Variáveis podem dificultar muito o processo de extração de métodos, nesses casos, outras técnicas de refactoring são necessárias, como a já mencionada Replace Temp with Query. &lt;br&gt;
